With so many species still unidentified, the Amazon is one of Earth’s last great wildernesses. On this 7-day tour, you’ll get the chance to explore all its most fascinating corners, traveling from gold rush-era towns to traditional villages, from dense jungle trails to natural swimming pools and beyond. Traveling by road and by water, you’ll get a true feel for this vast, wild place.

Lining the banks of the Rio Negro (the mighty Amazon rivers main tributary) we find a host of family-run jungle lodges, many of whom seek to promote the positive impact that a greater understanding of their delicate rainforest environment can have on its future protection. For anyone seeking that fully-engrossed Amazon experience, supporting communities, understanding conservation and witnessing some extraordinary natural sites along the way; this tour is simply a must! Any immersive rainforest exploration is only complete with its fair share of nature hikes, birdwatching walks, river kayaking, Caiman spotting, community visits and picture-perfect sunsets, all of which you can take a moment to enjoy during this adventure. Among the learning experience of regional customs, edible Amazonian fruits and medicinal plant life, one of the many natural highlights will come at "Encontro das Águas", the place where the Solimoes and Negro Rivers collide!
