YANAYACU RIVER BASIN – PUCATE. It is the third most important part of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, flows into the Marañón River near the Santo Domingo village entrance checkpoint. The whole area of the basin is included in the ecological floor of the tropical moist forest. It is a river of sewage that runs approximately 180 kilometers within which are located more than 12 cars and 59 pipes (Riachuelos). The programs require you to sleep the first or last night in a tourist shelter in the small hamlet “Buenos Aires” and the nights in between in tents or mosquito nets.
