Your first stop in Ubud is the ever-popular Ubud Monkey Forest, an Indiana Jones landscape thatās home to bands of roving macaques. Your driver/guide will show you how to interact with them safely.
Next, head to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, one of Ubudās most beautiful rice-field landscapes. Just a little further north, fill up your camera roll with a quintessential Ubud experience, a jungle swing, then have lunch overlooking the forest.
After lunch, go deeper into Balinese culture when your driver/guide introduces the sacred springs of Tirta Empul Temple. Your final stop before your driver drops you back is the spectacular Tegenungan Waterfall, a roaring 50-foot (15-meter) cascade set amid lush forest.

I recently booked an Ubud private tour, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my time in Bali. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-organized, and tailored exactly to what I wanted to experience.
Our driver dangin was punctual, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local culture and history. Instead of feeling rushed, I appreciated the flexibility to spend more time at places I loved, like the rice terraces and temples, while skipping spots that didnāt interest me as much.

This was the most incredible experience. While it was a very long day as traffic in
Bali is awful, it was well worth every minute. Each stop was more magnificent than the previous one and our guide, Yogakamareka was the best. He was so knowledgeable, funny, and the best photographer ever. We truly loved our day with him and would highly recommend this full day excursion

Our driver Komong Godoh was excellent and provided us a great day exploring Ubud. He was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting commentary and knowledge of the area over the course of our day. He also went out of his way to ensure the lunch restaurant provided a special dessert and flowers to celebrate my wifeās birthday. Highly recommend this tour for an action packed fun overview of Ubud hot spots as well as Komong as a tour guide.

We were picked up at our hotel right on time by our driver/guide Gusti. We had an amazing day with him as he took us around Ubud to show us all the sites, took pictures and videos for us and explained everything very well. He took good care of us the whole day. An easy 5-star day in Ubud! Visiting the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary was such a fun and unique experience, and the Tirta Empul Temple was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Lunch was delicious with a great view and had the swing included!

Gusti was the best!!! I spent a wonderful full day in Ubud, visiting the most important spots. Gusti was a bit more than a normal guide - he provided lots of very interesting information about the local culture and traditions, about the day to day life and things to do. We had a great tour. Dewa Gantaz was a wonderful guide giving us lots of great information about the places we visited. The tour was all done at our pace and was worth every penny. Dewa took lots of photos for us and also told us the spots where we would get the best shots. He was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Emawan was a terrific guide, sharing the history, traditions and culture of this beautiful island. The tour inclusions were varied and interesting. I especially enjoyed the Monkey Forest, Rice Terraces and family compound. Enawan also helped with recommendations on negotiating prices with shop keepers and where to find quality items.

Allow more time for this tour thank stated. The itinerary was different to what I expected as an extra location (coffee shop selling coffee made from animal poo) was included but this meant we ran out of time to see the temple. Also viator doesn't state that you can't visit the temples if you're female and menstruating, this was frustrating as it meant missing out on the tour completely. Our guide was understanding and managed to get a refund for this part for me. We set off at 9am but didn't get back till 8pm. The waterfall we went to wasn't the famous one in the description, it was a smaller one that was less touristy. It had beautiful stepping stones and very pretty. Be mindful of this though if you definitely want to see Tegenungan waterfall then be direct with your guide. I didn't mind as we saw Tegenungan the next day using a private taxi driver that we booked separately. The tour was too long as we had small kids waiting in the villa and expected to be back by 6pm. Think it would have made more sense to start with the location further away from the hotel/villa pick up so that you don't face a 2hr drive back in the evening when its dark. We started with something 1hr away and progressively moved north which meant further from our start point, hence the long journey back to an increasingly irate babysitter. Lots was crammed in this tour, including a jewellery shop at the Bali traditional house. I bought 2 items but before we even returned to the UK, the anklet snapped at a link so now I have to get it repaired over here. I would say don't waste your money on the jewellery there as its obviously not great quality. The coffee shop wasn't my thing so I would have preferred to spend more time at the other stuff and actually get to swim at the main waterfall. Felt a bit rushed at the end of the day to cram the places into the time we had left. Bali swing was amazing though so that was the highlight. The lunch is ok but I'd suggest get through it quickly, you dont need 2 hours there. The guide was lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable. Think some changes to the order of visiting stuff would be useful in future. Good tour to do if you want to see everything in one day around Ubud.

Wayan Widarta was an excellent guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and tailored the experience to exactly what we wanted. He was also an amazing driver, which is important in this crazy city of too many cars and too many scooters! We told him what we wanted to do and what we didnāt want to do and it was just a fabulous day. I would recommend this toward anyone.
