Beautiful colors and a kind spirit

Please consider this tour. It was quite an experience. The guide was very acknowledgeable and gave much of insight on the culture of Old Hoi An. He also embodied the spirit of the culture. You could tell he was a kind soul. The boat ride and lantern release was spectacular. Seeing all the colorful lanterns was quite the view. You won’t regret it.

Guided tour & lantern making

Tom was great, collected us from our hotel then we walked into town. It was so much fun having a local with us as we didn’t have to wait in line. He was very knowledgeable of the area and Hoi An. He made it enjoyable for us. We went on the boats and released our lantern and made a wish! We made lanterns which was a super fun experience. It felt like our very own town tour. I recommend doing this at the start of your trip to get an understanding of the area and things to do. Would highly recommend again!

Tommy was an outstanding guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly easy to talk to. He walked us through the charming streets of Hoi An, sharing fascinating history and local insights along the way. He introduced us to some amazing street food and treated us to what might be the best tea we’ve ever had in Hoi An. The boat ride was a real highlight — peaceful and beautiful — and he even included floating lanterns for us to release into the river, which made the experience feel magical. Tommy was thoughtful, well-prepared, and clearly passionate about his hometown. We felt like we were exploring Hoi An with a local friend, not just a guide.
