Got to see a lot of the moai and hear about its history. beware there is a lot of walking and up hill and another part long walk down into a cave. The first part of the tour day one we got some bathroom breaks and time to get something to drink or eat plus lunch at our own expense. But the second day part 2 no bathroom breaks or something to drink or eat.

Our guide, Enzo was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Bus driver (name began with G) was GREAT -- helped my wife avoid a nasty sudden rainstorm. However, our group had English speakers and Spanish speakers, so we all had to sit through the others' narrations. Also, Enzo narrated the features of each stop while we were walking to and from the sights. If you weren't always at his side, you would miss some -- sometimes much -- of what was said. It would have been much better if the mini-bus had a speaker system and if Enzo provided us with information as we drove from one sight to another. As it was, he never spoke to the group while the bus was going from place to place.

The tour was well organised and covered all of the main sites that you are likely to want to see while here. Our guide was informative and also answered our questions about life on the island today, so we felt we learnt a lot.
It is worth being aware that there is no lunch stop on the second day (which finished around 3pm) and that you must buy your National Park ticket separately.

This is a 2 day tour with different guides on each day. The guide on the first day knows the history and culture of the island very well. However she did not gather everyone together before her narrative. So those who walked close to her would hear what she said while other slower passengers missed out. Many times she would began talking while others are way behind. This is not very professional. Also, the first day the pick up was delayed for an hour. Only explanation was from the tour operator that they had some minor issues. The tour guide never explain nor apologize for the delay. The guide on the 2nd day was much better. She waited for everyone before her narrative. At the end of the tour, she offered options to drop us off back to our hotel or near a restaurant. As well the driver on the 2nd day would help us get in and out of the van, the driver on the first day never did that. I would give a 3 star for the first day and 5 star for the 2nd day. I recommend this tour but you have a different experience based on who your guide is.

Good two days, was plenty, and second day picked up a few nice additions, especially the crater and Birdman areas. First day covers the most important areas. End of first day at the beach was not important to me. Second day at the Banana Cave was a long walk, hit, and walking through the cave in the dark was dangerous. They should provide torches.

The 2 days tour was fantastic. Very informative. The 2 tour guides were efficient and friendly. I recommend this tour

Day 1 was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable local guide Fernanda. He was keen to make sure everyone enjoyed the day and went away with some understanding of Rapa Nui culture and history. Pacing of Day 1 was perfect with well timed lunch break, toilet and drinks breaks. A great day and great guide.
Day 2 was great in seeing further sites and some explanations of the history and culture with a different guide to Day 1. Timing could have been better managed- no lunch break between pick up and drop off at 3.00 pm.
Over the two days we felt we learned a lot and saw a lot. It is great that the tours are delivered by local people. Rapa Nui is beautiful, and well worth visiting.

Had an absolutely amazing experience in Rapa Nui with Zoe as my guide. Fantastic 2 day experience with plenty to see all over the island! Absolutely would book again.
William_G, Aug 2025
This 2-day tour extensively covers most of the significant sites in the National Park on Rapa Nui. Our guides, were very knowledgeable about the history, culture and way of life of the inhabitants of this unique island as well as the geological events that shaped it.

We booked 2 day tour via Viator - first day was phenomenal and our guide was very informative, spent time explaining and had deep knowledge about everything related to the archeological sites. On our second day, the tour guide was not informative, rushed through a whole day tour and finished in 1/2 day, left the tour at 2pm , started the tour late around 10:30am, had to be prompted to explain, explanations were all incorrect and did not care at all.

We saw many sights on the first day, which was well coordinated. The second day we were picked up an hour later as our tour guide’s wife had gone into labour. New tour guide did a good job. Lunch stop should have been included on the second day, it was good that we brought lots of snacks.
Lais_H, Feb 2025
The tours were conducted by a bilingual guide and our guide spent 75% of his time talking to the Spanish speaking participants and 25% of his time addressing English speakers and this process significantly limited our time and access to view the different sites.
Secondly, the tour operator failed to clean the interior of the van on a daily basis.

The information promised tours in English. On day 1 there was a translator, a very sweet young woman, whose English was about equal to my Spanish--very basic. She could tell me this was a house, that was a statue but only the barest minimum about the deeper meanings. Day 2 was a nightmare. A driver picked me up and we rode around two hours picking up other guests. This meant long waits in a very hot van sitting in the sun while the driver looked for people. Then via another guest who spoke some English I learned our guide had canceled. We waited for a new guide who came but she didn't speak English. I had no idea what we were doing. I was severely dehydrated by this time and getting dizzy. We were led to a dark cave and I couldn't get my phone flashlight to stay on so was in danger of falling. The guide did try to help. The only time I understood what was going on was when the exhibit had English captions. I was not able to ask questions and the guide ignored non Spanish speakers since there was no way to communicate with us. Very disappointing and a total waste of money.

Transportation was poor - 2 pickup trucks used to transport 8 of us - people crammed into the backseats. Trucks were dirty.
Tour was late in starting by 90 minutes due to a confusion by the operator regarding a guest who was not scheduled to attend until the next day.
Tour guide did not understand English - very difficult understanding him.

The tour was great, included everything I would like to see on the island. Frank was my tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and down to earth. I enjoyed it very much!
ken_g, Nov 2024
The first day was fine. However our driver Simon on the second day had a terrible attitude. I asked to sit in the front of the van. He said no. I asked him why and he replied, because I said so. Not a way to start a tour or speak to a senior. That attitude stayed the whole day and the group were unhappy

Experience was amazing! Very experienced and friendly guides. David did the adventure packed day. He’s a little more active, and you’ll need to keep up. Franco did the second day, which includes more gentle walking and is fine for kids. (He was also very helpful when I needed to take an emergency call during a part of the tour in a remote place.) Good information and conversations both days, and we learned a lot and had a great time!
A couple things to note:
1. Depending on the day, you may not take the tour in order. Because we started on a Tuesday, we did day 2 (a full day) first, and day 1 (a half day) second.
2. The tour says “moderate” physical fitness. While both my 60 year old dad and I were perfectly fine doing the tour, the second day involves going through a very dark cave, which requires ducking, bending, and in one spot, crawling off a normal path. I’d recommend shoes with good grip, and note that it is not going to be accessible for people with back or knee problems. There is also a good bit of uphill walking, so if these things pose a problem, it may not be the best.
3. There are not many bathrooms, and it is hot. Bring a decent amount of water, and use the bathrooms when they are offered. (Perks, they’re clean)!

Excellent two day tour around the must see sights of the island. Our guide Franco was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his culture with us.
Paul_G, Oct 2024
Rapa Nui statues were incredible and so was the large crater. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, both of them have roots from the island so they knew it well, history and geography and all. I was able to inquire more about the history of the island. I truly recommend this tour.

We did the two-day tour. It was excellent! The guides were wonderful! Our first day (May 17) our woman guide (we do not recall her name) was so kind. She noticed right away I had an issue with my leg hurting and made sure I was comfortable (even referring a doctor!). But it was her expert knowledge of the island and its history that we were truly impressed by! One of our favorite parts was when she took us down by the water and fished sea urchins out of the sea, cracked them open and let us sample the meat! Our guide the second day on May 18 (we can’t remember his name either, unfortunately) was equally as amazing! He played the ukulele and sang beautifully, really adding to the experience! He soldiered on through the rain even leading us through caves! So cool! Both of these guides were a rich addition to our time on the island. Thank you both!

Good pace, enough time to walk around the sights, great knowledgable guide who expanded on topics if asked to. The combination of sights is almost perfect. And Easter Island is great!
Just the communication up front could use a lot of improvement.

Exceptional first day
Second day in the rain. Some sites were closed. You should consider postponing the day to the next day for those who desire it.

It was two very complete days on Rapa Nui Island, with two excellent guides! The first tour of the South Coast is much more interesting but the 2nd is also the one for the story that is told to us
The weak point is the price, excessively expensive.
Another weak point is not thinking and not including lunch on the tour. On the first day they still gave a hypothesis but at the expense of the weather on the beach and on the 2nd day this hypothesis was not even put

Respondia a todas as perguntas efetuadas. O passeio foi satisfatório. Recomendo.
