Excellent shore excursion
This tour was excellent and worked really well as a shore excursion. The meeting point was less than a kilometre from the ship. The tour was also a fraction of the price of a similar tour from the ship. Nassor was an excellent guide - friendly and very knowledgeable. Stone Town itself is really interesting and not to be missed in Zanzibar.

Just book it!
Just do it! This was one of the best day trips we have ever done! We went with captain barnaba tours and the crew were absolutely fantastic. We saw so many dolphins and got to swim with them ethically. The crew didn’t chase the dolphins, instead they stopped the boat ahead of the path the dolphins were swimming which made the experience that much more enjoyable. The crystal waters were something of paradise and we had never seen this many fish during snorkelling. Don’t even think about it just book it!!!

A feast at Forodhani
Kassim provided a very insightful tour of Stone Town prior to going to Forodhani to try out the street food. At Forodhani, Kassim recommended trying a variety of fantastic dishes, starting with a Zanzibar pizza and sugar cane juice and ending with a crepe. I only wish that I had not had lunch as there was so much to try.

Easy, clean and Safe
We used Affordable Reliable Taxi Services twice during our stay in Zanzibar, and both experiences were excellent. The car was clean, air-conditioned (which is essential), and even had WiFi available. The driver was safe, punctual, and very personable. We felt comfortable and taken care of the entire time. If you're looking for reliable transportation in Zanzibar, this is a dependable option I would use again without hesitation.

While Tanzania’s sweeping Serengeti plains and towering Mount Kilimanjaro get a lot of attention, you don’t want to miss the country’s tropical islands. Zanzibar tours acquaint you with the multicultural influences and intricate carved doors of Stone Town, the main island’s old trading hub that’s still full of antique shops and bazaars. The archipelago’s smaller islands are ideal for snorkeling among dolphins and spotting giant Aldabra tortoises, while the countryside is home to spice farms and indigenous Swahili culture. If you’re up for a short flight, many Zanzibar tours go to mainland Tanzania for safaris.
