Long day in Transylvania

It’s a very long day over 12 hours with regular stops. The town of Braşov was the highlight and Peles castle grounds are lovely. The crowds and the long wait for entry to Dracula castle made this very unpleasant. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and the driver had excellent skills managing the mountain road.

Long day but definitely...

Long day but definitely worth it - Really enjoyed the experience. Both Castles very different from other castles we had seen, wish we had more time in the town of Brasov, lunch was excellent. Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable and passionate about Romania and its history. She suggested we buy skip the line tickets definitely worth the small upcharge. Transportation was a large van, while not a Mercedes as advertised, it was comfortable.
