Good but rushed
Peles visit was a little rushed. Perhaps a slower tour of the castle and half an hour less in Bran Bran castle was just about to close at 2pm today so we had to have a long delayed lunch and felt again rushed through our visit. And Rasnov was closed for renovation so disappointing to.miss that with no advance notice

VIP experience that can...
VIP experience that can only come from a professional. We were brought to the front of every line while the guide explained the history in depth. Highly recommended.

Guide with a heart. ❤️🐈‍⬛
The castles, fortress, and monastery were great. Our guide was very knowledgeable. But that’s not the highlight of the trip. We parked to go to the castle and we heard a cat meowing. We followed the sound to a pipe sticking out of the ground - it went about 2M in to the ground and there was a kitten stuck at the bottom. Our guide called for help on her phone and some employees from the restaurant came out and we spent about 30-45 minutes rescuing the kitten (we tried many methods). We were successful and I think everyone felt better for sticking around and doing the right thing. We are certainly taking home a unique memory from the trip.

Sinaia Monastery
  • Sinaia Monastery is a must for travelers looking for a peaceful retreat before or after visiting busy Peles Castle.
  • There are restrooms at the site.
  • The walk up from the train station and on to Peles Castle is steep and not well-suited to anyone with mobility issues.
