We sail through the bay of Paracas and see the largest peninsula that we have in Peru. We then stop at a point north of the Paracas peninsula to look at, photograph and film the Chandelier where the tour guide will briefly explain the measurements, materials from the area and their possible origin. The navigation continues and after approximately 15 minutes from the Chandelier you will arrive at the Ballestas Islands. Bird watching lovers will find a large number of these such as: seagulls, terns, boobies, cormorants, pelicans, vultures and Humboldt penguins. Definitely the highlight of the tour are the sea lions. BALLESTAS ISLANDS + Paracas National Reserve + Candelabra Start of the tour: Pick up from your hotel or meeting point in Ica or Paracas to start the tour. First visit: Ballestas Islands Arrive at the El Chaco Pier and embark by boat to the Ballestas Islands. During the tour you will be able to observe the Candelabra (geoglyph visible from the sea), natural rock formations, colonies of sea lions, Humboldt penguins and glovebirds (boobies, tendrils, among others). Second visit: Paracas National Reserve Land tour of the Paracas National Reserve. We will visit Playa Roja, Playa Lagunillas and Playa La Mina, where you can enjoy the surroundings and, if the conditions allow, bathe. End of the tour: The tour ends at the Plaza de Armas in Ica. There is also the option to finish at the El Chaco Pier in Paracas.

Your itinerary is as follows: 9:00 am Pickup from your nearby hotel in Paracas. 9:20 am Visit the information center staffed by resident biologists at the Paracas National Reserve. 9:40 am Short hike to see flamingos. 10:00 am Drive to the magnificent rock formation known as the Cathedral. 10:45 am Travel along the coast to the highest mountain in the Paracas Peninsula (Isthmus of the Paracas Peninsula). 11:00 am Visit Red Beach for a photo stop. 11:20 am Finally, visit the Pink Lagoon, known for its pink color, caused by the presence of microorganisms and the high concentration of salt. 12:30 pm Return to the hotel.
