Real Barvarian Tour Experience
We had a great time touring Harburg castle from medieval times and the old town Rothenburg. We were very glad to see the real Harvarian places.

5 STARS for Monica!
Our guide was Monica and she was patient and thorough. This tour required a lot of driving and she kept us entertained and told us about each area as we passed.

A must see
It’s a long trip but well worth it. The Harburg castle dates from the twelfth century through the eighteenth so you can see how it looked like in those times.
Rothenburg is a charming medieval town and even has storks! All in all a great trip.
The scenery is beautiful, green fields, brooks.

The Harburg castle and...
The Harburg castle and Rothenburg village were both well worth seeing, but the tour itself was very large and impersonal with limited commentary. Well on board, the tour guide collected 12 euros for payment for the tour of the castle. When we got to the castle the ticket prices said 5 euros for a guided tour and 3.50 euros to enter the grounds. I’m not sure where the 12 euro price came from. It seems that the tour company may have been up charging us without explanation.

Worth the trip
The trip to Harburg and Rothenburg was well worth the visit. The bus ride and seats were very comfortable. The driver and host were pleasant. The host provided a talking guide as we traveled to our destination. The Harburg castle was a site to see. The town of Rothenburg has such a storybook charm. Absolutely beautiful place.

Hanae had lots of stories...
Hanae had lots of stories and info to share with us during a long drive, which made it seem shorter. Draagon was an excellent driver on a challenging and windy road.

Romantic Road
Very lovely places. We had a good guide and a skilfull driver.
We enjoyed the Harburg castle and the time spent in Rothenburg.
We liked the narrow streets and the cute little shops, especially the shops with Christmas decorations.

Great day trip
This is a great trip for those who want to get out of Munich but don’t like being on the road much. About 1.5 hours to Harburg, followed by a 1 hours break to stretch your leg, and finally another 1.5 hour to Rothenburg. There we got 3 hours to explore shops, food, and museums. Sven helped us every step of the way and even provided tips for your day outside the paid tour.
