Kilimanjaro. Visiting a coffee plantation, you'll learn everything there is to know about how Arabica coffee is cultivated, harvested, and processed. Together, we will pound the coffee beans to remove them from their shells, roast them, grind them, and finally enjoy a cup of homemade coffee! After this, we will take a 45-minute hike to Materuni Waterfall. Note that the terrain can be quite muddy, so wear appropriate shoes. Enjoy the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro's largest waterfall (90m tall) and have the option to take a refreshing swim. After we will return Materuni village and for a locally prepared Chagga lunch.

Today you’ll spend a half day relaxing in the clear waters of Chemka hot springs, after being collected in a comfy private vehicle from Moshi. Relax after your busy week in the beautiful turquoise water of the Kikuletwa Hot Springs (they are not really that hot but more refreshing)! Experience the way the locals travel by hopping in a Tuk Tuk and weaving your way through local Maasai villages, Baobab trees and farms to see how people live in the country side. When we arrive at the hot springs after about 1 - 1.5hrs travel enjoy the tranquility of the water in a quiet space or opt for the rope swing for a bit of excitement! Entry ticket and lunch will be provided. Tubes are available for hire. The hot springs are home to many Doctor fish who will clean your dead skin if you sit still! When you are ready we will return back to Moshi and drop you off at your desired location. Note: the amenities (including change rooms and toilets) at the hot springs are very basic so we would encourage guests to use the bathroom before leaving and wearing their swimming attire to start the tour. Don’t forget to bring towels!

Arusha National Park is a national park, as you can tell from its name, close to Arusha, which makes it perfect for a day trip to see giraffes, buffaloes, and other wild animals. Arusha National Park is also a perfect place for a walking safari. Getting close and personal to wildlife is truly thrilling and an amazing experience. At the end, you will also reach a beautiful waterfall descending from Mount Meru.

Kikuletwa Hot Spring also known as Maji Moto is located in Kilimanjaro, and it is a perfect small oasis in the middle of the dry land. It is surrounded by palm trees, stunning sprawling fig trees and has crystal blue water to take a dip in. It is one of the best places to admire the wonders of nature and enjoy life. You will get to spend the day here and relax, swim, jump off a swing rope, eat a local lunch and if you sit still in the water for long enough, you will get a free fish spa. There is also an option to go to a beautiful (hidden) waterfall nearby. And if you are lucky, you will get some stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Lemosho Route: Approaching from the west, the Lemosho route is a relatively new route and is one of the best for scenery. It is one of our highly recommended routes, not only for its stunning scenery, but also due to its steady incline and better acclimatization. The first two days of the climb are quiet and have relatively low traffic, before joining the more popular Machame route. Time period is 7days and 8days.
