What are people saying about Lyon

Lyon super bikefriendly
Excellent e-bikes! Especially liked the cushion handlebars. We were on the Viking river cruise already done excursions with them. But Nate took us to places that we never saw, including the city hall with magnificent horse statues and in the park of Gold Head, aMing other places. T Lyon great place to ride a bicycle because of the bicycle lanes. It was comfortable for me and I don’t like riding a bike next to cars.

An amazing time!
Joelle has created a wonderful experience. We had such an enjoyable time creating some fun recipes. The market excursion was also good. The end result was an assortment of delicious food created by our small group. We had fun conversation and the view is to die for! Absolutely gorgeous! Would highly recommend!! Thank you Joelle!

1st Visit to Lyon
Great tour. Loved that it was small; only 4 of of us. Elisabeth had time to individually talk with us and answer questions as they came up. Food was plentiful and tasty. Chocolate was good. Highly recommend. Learned more about Lyon than just the food.

We enjoyed our wine...
We enjoyed our wine tasting experience with Madeline. The setting was a former silk weaver’s workshop, now a cozy apartment. Madeline is very personable and very knowledgeable about wine. Our small, lively group of 6 tasted wines from Beaujolais, Burgundy and the Northern Rhone, starting with a nice Cremant de Bourgogne. The tastings were paired with a lovely charcuterie board. This was an informative, fun and enjoyable pre-dinner experience.

My friend and I had an...
My friend and I had an amazing time on the Beaujolais wine tour from Lyon. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The drive through the countryside was beautiful, with rolling vineyards and charming villages that really set the mood for the day.
We visited two wineries, and both stops felt genuinely special in their own way. Each winery had its own character and atmosphere, and we loved learning about their different approaches to wine-making. The tastings were generous, the wines were delicious, and it was really interesting to compare the styles and hear the stories behind them.
A big part of what made the experience so memorable was our host. He was extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He shared so much great information about the region and the wines, but always in a relaxed and enjoyable way. It never felt rushed — just fun, engaging, and easygoing.

Do it if you want to learn French way of cooking.
It is an excellent class with fantastic chef Terrie. We went to a small market on the river bank to pick up freshest veggies. Then, we started with disassembling chicken for three different dishes, fortifying ourselves with good wine. We did soup, chicken breast sou-vide, and chicken with veggies and mushrooms. In parallel we did a praline cookies and a praline tart.
Finally, we have a lovely lunch. Through all these steps, Terrie was exceptionally, friendly, funny, and personable. This was our may be tenth cooking class in various trips around the world and in our experience the best and the most instructive.

Interesting food tour to learn history of Lyon cuisine
This was a great tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. He went into great detail about the history of food and wine not just in Lyon but the Rhône valley. The food selections were varied and delicious. In addition the drink pairings (wine, beer and coffee based on the food) worked perfectly. I highly recommend this tour if you are interested in the cuisine of Lyon.

Exceptional!
This was an amazing tour! Nathalie was our tour guide and she was exceptional. So knowledgeable about the city of Lyon and all of the marvelous food in this charming city! We sampled some amazing local foods and learned so much about the area. We were expecting just a food tour but we got both a food and history tour - it was perfect! All of the shop and restaurant owners were very welcoming and you can tell Nathalie has a great relationship with them all. She also offered suggestions on how to spend our remaining time in Lyon. 10 out of 10!

Much better than we expected! Amazing views on our way to the winery!
This was a very fun and interesting tour! I feel bad that I don't remember our tour guides name but she's very petite. She explained everything and we enjoyed the wine tasting at the end with our group. We enjoyed all the scenery there was getting to the location. This tour was better than we expected!

Fun pastry class in Lyon France
This was such a fun pastry making experience. Terry has a way of teaching that made even the most novice baker very comfortable. He was entertaining and very knowledgeable. I would take other classes with him. He really made it a very rewarding experience.

The Way to See Lyon
Loved everything about this tour. We took the three-hour option, and saw so much. Our guide asked if we wanted her to talk less and bike more, which we all agreed to, and that enabled her to take us to the park and zoo which were not on the itinerary. I'm so glad she did this. It was great. She provided so much history and insights, that I felt like a local. Highly recommend.

No food. Just a tour. Grrat way to see the city and our guide was informative.
No food but great tour and nice way to see the city. Would have like opportunities to try and purchase food esp given the name. Could have even been short stops with pastries or at market hall. Really nice city and great guide though. Nice seeing through eyes of a local.
