Perfect Day with Bruno
This tour was fantastic! Bruno picked us up at the port on time and made our visit unbelievably special. We saw some extremely beautiful sites and had a one of a kind wine tasting experience. If we ever go back to this area I would book this tour again!

An X experience.
The 3 hour guided tour by Ben was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and showed us parts of Aix-en-Provence we would never have found.
Our small group of 4 was very impressed with this tour. Ben suggested eating places and we actually went to one for lunch that day and it was excellent.
Overall we highly recommend this tour.

Clementine is a SUPERSTAR!
Great experience! Clementine is a SUPERSTAR! The tour ended up being just for my wife and me. We were the only two that booked a tour that day and we certainly would have understood if Viator cancelled the tour, since it was only us two, but Clementine showed up and did an outstanding job. The food was great, the conversation was easy, and the knowledge she shared with us was exceptional. She even sent a ton of helpful information to my wife by email with suggestions of itinerary for the rest of our trip through France. CLEMENTINE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND!

Lovely Day!
We had a delightful day at the Gorge and Tom was an excellent guide. He is passionate and knowledgeable about all things Provence … food, wine, culture, nature and geographical assets. We enjoyed all that was planned for the day and even a few extra things as he learned our interests. We learned French language, stopped for a quick round of petanque, enjoyed wine from Tom’s village …. It was an excellent experience!

Perfect mix of spectacular natural beauty, art history and adventure!
What an amazing experience we had on our e-bike tour! We got comfortable learning the feel of our new rides on the easy trip out of Aix and then got to the rugged bouncy trail fun that lead to spectacular views where we learned all about the region and Cezanne. Lavender fields that were simply spectacular and the tree lined path on the way back to town made this ride one of the most memorable moments of our whole trip!

Beautiful Day
Sebastian was a great guide. He gave interesting commentary on the drive and was a careful driver. The towns we visited provided a good overview of the area.
I would suggest that Viator be more clear as to which cities are included on the tour for the day that is booked. We did not visit one town that Viator listed.

Rainy but still lovely
We had such a fun group of people (7 passengers), that we had a great time on our tour, despite it being a stormy day. Poor Tomas, our driver, felt so bad as if he was personally responsible for the weather, but he worked with us to adjust the itinerary around the storms, and we ended up having a fun and informative trip. He did a great job.

Rain didn’t stop a great time!
Our guide, Ines, from Orpheus, was amazing. It was scheduled to pour most of the day - not great for 1) being on a small boat (12 capacity) or 2) seeing gorgeous scenery. She flipped our schedule so we got on the first boat of the day and we were able to see 3 calanques before the downpour began. Despite the rain we all had a great time. We grabbed an early lunch and were able to get to the cliff-top during a break in the weather and got some great shots. The vineyard we were supposed to visit got flooded so they cancelled. Ines reached out to other vineyards and was able to book us a tasting, but they cancelled at the last minute! Ines reached out to the museum of civilization in Marseille and got us tickets for the Cosquer underwater cave recreation, which was very interesting and something none of our tour group knew about beforehand. So, it wasn’t the day we were expecting, but Orpheus and Ines made sure we didn’t get short-changed and we all had a great time. In fact, one couple, there with some family, got engaged on the boat in the pouring rain! On some level, it’s about the attitude you bring with you to every day, isn’t it? Oh, and Ines’ lunch recommendation was spot on!

I will go again and again to Aix en Provence to see the Lavender!
The light of the sunset makes the lavender very much more vibrant. It is stunning!
Make sure to bring bug spray, and potentially cover your ankles. I was immersed in the fields but returned with lots of bites. Also, plan the week you go to catch the lavender in full bloom, taking into account if the season has been hotter than usual hence the lavender will be harvested and cut sooner than later. we went July 12 and it was the last day before it was harvested. Next time I would go last week of june possibly. I am very interested in flowers and learned so many facts about lavender. I loved this! Friends did the 9 hour day tour as well as this and preferred this. They mentioned it was very hot during the day and the lavender not as beautiful. Our tour guide was wonderful. We would most likely go again. Southern france is an about gem and cannot be missed!

Great Introduction to Aix
It was a great tour to do at the very beginning of stay, giving some good orientation and helpful insights as to where to shop for food, as we stayed in an apartment while in Aix. Tour guide very helpful, knowledgeable and open to answering all our questions.

A pleasant trip through lavender country.
We were taken to the lavender fields, distilleries and shops as well as to the town of Valensole in a comfortable van. The tour group consisted of 5 people plus the guide. Alessandro was very personable and knowledgeable and gave us ample time at each stop to enjoy the experience. The fields were very beautiful and Valensole was an interesting small town in the countryside. I would recommend this experience.

Perfect day of art, history and architecture today
Nicholas is a terrific guide — deeply knowledgeable about the Provence region, its history and its influence on the Impressionists, from Van Gogh and Gauguin to Cezanne who was born and lived in Aix. The towns visited were gorgeous - blending Roman, medieval and Gothic architecture in Arles, Les Baux and Avignon. Finally realized thanks to this tour that Chateau Neuf de Pape is named for the Pope’s New Palace (1350-1420) in Avignon!! Highly recommend this guide
And this tour!
