Swim at the heart of Moalboal’s famous sardine run, where millions of shimmering silver sardines swirl together in synchronized motion. As you swim through this enormous bait ball, you’ll witness an extraordinary natural show—dynamic patterns, spirals, and shapes created by the sardines as they move as one massive cloud. The sight is both thrilling and peaceful, and it’s considered one of the top must-see snorkeling experiences in the Philippines. Just a short swim from the sardine run area lies a thriving feeding ground for green sea turtles and hawksbill turtles. Moalboal’s healthy sea grass beds attract turtles throughout the day, giving snorkelers a close encounter with these gentle, slow-moving creatures.
