Top Cebu Day Trips

We opted for 4 hours tour of Cebu City, we only had a few hours to spare on our last day before flying out. We were enjoying the Cebu resort so much that we only had that time to roam around, we of course have plans to come back. Analisa and our driver were both very courteous fun to be with during our tour. Analisa was very efficient and made sure we saw as much as we can see with that small amount of time. This was, without question, one of the best excursions we’ve ever taken—and we’ve traveled to several countries and booked many tours through Viator! Our guides, Jim and Joell, were absolutely outstanding. They were fun, encouraging, professional, and made us feel safe every step of the way. From the unforgettable experience of swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob to the adrenaline-filled canyoneering adventure and breathtaking turquoise waters of Kawasan Falls, every moment exceeded our expectations. The highlight of the day came from our 15-year-old daughter, who turned to us and said, “This is the best trip of my life.” Coming from someone who has traveled internationally and experienced many amazing tours, that says it all. Jim and Joell went above and beyond, helping us capture incredible photos and videos while making sure we could simply enjoy the experience. They kept the day fun, never rushed us, and their positive energy made the adventure even more memorable. The only area for improvement was the organization at the whale shark stop. It would have been helpful to receive more guidance before arriving. We ended up changing into our swimsuits in the car, weren’t aware that the restrooms required pesos to use, and a little more direction on what to expect would have made the morning start much smoother. This wasn’t the fault of our guides, but rather the overall process at the whale shark site. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and Jim and Joell truly made the day exceptional. If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate—book it! If you’re lucky enough to have Jim and Joell as your guides for the canyoneering and falls, you’re in for an amazing adventure your family will be talking about for years.

This experience was truly once in a lifetime! From swimming with whale sharks to visiting Tumalog Falls, Sumilon Sandbar, and Pescador Island with its incredible sardine run, every stop was unforgettable. Our driver and guide, Abam, was punctual, friendly, and provided amazing recommendations that made the day even better. Our morning guide, Cherryl, was incredibly kind and informative, making sure we had a smooth and memorable experience. Thanks to both of them, everything was convenient, well-organized, and absolutely enjoyable—I highly recommend this tour!

This was a special experience! The guides were timely, friendly and thorough, but swimming with the Whale Sharks was an exceptional experience! They are so quiet and smooth in the water, you can't tell when they are behind you. Plus, the falls are truly beautiful. I highly recommend this tour!

Our trip was amazing! To start off, our driver Makoy was excellent and punctual, and drove us everywhere quickly. Our guides at the diving and canyoneering were also awesome and helped everything run smoothly and successfully. We highly recommend this experience, as it made the trip for us!

This was an amazing experience from the the beginning. Driver arrived on time, the line is pretty long but our guide was dialed in. Our guide got is VIP access. We had breakfast first. Visted a meat by water fall which was breath taking. The whale shark experience was amazing. They get right up close to you. It feels like they are going to shallow you. Be sure to bring a GOpro or camera you won’t want to miss it. The best part was the Canyoneering. CAUTION: you must be physically active to make this hike. It is not for the faint of heart, but worth every minute. Our guides were engaging, funny and the best photographers I have seen, LOL. All in all 11/10 experience. A must if you visit CEBU.

Not only was this the best tour I have ever done in my life. These were the best tour guys I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t know how but they took pictures. Better on my phone than I have ever done. Absolutely captured all the breathtaking moments and more helpful than any guide I have ever had. I highly recommend this tour.

Great experience! I booked a private excursion for 5 people, and we were very well taken care of by our driver (Roland), Oslob guide (James), and Moalboal boat driver and guide. Roland was punctual picking us up at 3am and was an expert driver having to maneuver down the coast of Cebu. Note: be prepared for 9+ hours of driving, and I probably wouldn’t recommend to people who are easily car/motion sick. We were able to sleep a lot and brought snacks for the car. We had an 8 seater van that was clean in the morning, and we definitely left it sandy at the end of the day. James took good care of us in Oslob, he got our tickets for the whale sharks, and then we went to the falls since our group number wouldn’t be called for another 2 hrs. We had about an hour at the falls, and James carried our towels down and stayed nearby to take photos of our group. At the whale sharks area, he found us a spot in the shade and then waited for our number to be called for us, and showed us where to go. Definitely recommend since the waiting area was pretty chaotic during the busy tourist season. Note for December travelers: the water was pretty choppy, so we were only able to hang off the side of the paddle boat while they had another small boat feeding the whale sharks to pass by the boats in a line. In the 30 minute experience, a shark was led past us 4 or 5 times. Roland took us to Moalboal and led us to the boat pickup. We had a private motor boat which was nice. Our boat driver and guide both swam with us at the turtle and sardine run stop. I had a go pro, and the guide took lots of good videos of us while the driver helped push us down deeper below the surface for good videos. One note for future travelers: I wish I wore my long sleeve swim shirt because I got a lot of jelly fish stings that are super itchy the next day. Mostly from the Moalboal are, but we also felt some in Oslob.
