World Heritage–listed Harar is a place apart. With its 368 alleyways squeezed into just 1 sq km, it’s more reminiscent of Fez in Morocco than any other city in the Horn. Its countless mosques and shrines, animated markets, crumbling walls and charming people will make you feel as if you’ve floated right out of the 21st century. It’s the east’s most memorable sight and shouldn’t be missed. As if that wasn’t enough, there are many chances to get up close and personal with wild hyenas. It’s a rare traveller who doesn’t enjoy it here.

Addis Ababa is full of incredible sights, from Merkato (Africa's largest open-air market) to the National Museum, home of the "Lucy" (Dinkinesj) fossil. However, getting around can be a challenge without a vehicle or a guide who knows the way. This small-group experience takes away the stress of navigating so that you can focus entirely on soaking up the city's history and culture.

This safari takes you to Chebera-Churchura National Park, one of Ethiopia’s largest and least-visited wildlife reserves—meaning fewer visitors, more wildlife, and a truly authentic safari experience. Unlike crowded safari destinations, Chebera offers vast open landscapes where animals move freely and sightings feel natural, not staged. The tour combines game drives, waterfalls, and guided walking experiences, giving you a deeper connection to the park’s ecosystems. With two nights inside the park at Chebera Lodge, you stay close to wildlife and enjoy early-morning and late-afternoon safari moments when animals are most active. Travel is smooth and well-organized with domestic flights to Jimma, comfortable private transportation, and an experienced local guide who knows the park, animal behavior, and best viewing areas. The journey ends in comfort at Haile Resort Jimma, offering a relaxing contrast after days in the wilderness.
