I always try to take a local cooking class when I travel, and this one in Da Nang ended up being one of my favorites. Our instructor, Jane, was incredibly patient and walked us through four classic Vietnamese dishes: papaya salad, fresh spring rolls, crispy savory pancakes, and a really flavorful Beef Pho.
The class was easy to follow, hands-on, and the pacing was perfect. For a 3-hour session, the $28 price was a great value. They also run a coffee-making class, and we even got to sample their egg coffee—which was a fun surprise and really delicious.
Overall, an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Great food, great teacher, and a great way to dive into local Vietnamese cooking. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a good time on this tour. Lyn our guide was friendly and informative and made us feel welcome. The highlights for us were meeting the lovely people in the garden and cooking some delicious food. A point off is due to the rather large size of the group we were put in making the kitchen a little squeezy and though the market part was interesting, no coffee was provided and we had to buy our own water.

We have wonderful time starting from farming experience, touring local market to authentic cooking. The coach is cheerful and the overall experience is fun. A memorable experience highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time with Lyn. We loved walking through the market and trying all the different things. There was so much food in the class, that we were stuffed and couldn't finish everything. Definitely the highlight of our trip!
