What are people saying about Tashkent

Guide Nikita, you are the coolest
We are really lucky: our guide and driver are Nikita. Punctual, mandatory, attentive to detail—professionalism is felt from the first minutes. But the main thing is not that.
Nikita was born and raised in Tashkent, and lived in Russia for several years. It turned out to be his superpower: he perfectly understands the mentality of Russians and Uzbeks. This is not just a guide, but a real bridge between two cultures.
The most valuable thing is his stories. He shared such subtleties of the local residents' psychology that are impossible to read in any psychology textbook. Living stories, observations, jokes—everything that makes a city understandable and close, and not just a collection of sights.
And another huge plus: no strict timing. We didn't rush headlong; we managed to enjoy every location, not hurrying anywhere. It's worth the money when you don't want to just "check a box," but to feel the place.
I definitely recommend Nikita and his friends, and loved ones. If you go to Tashkent, don't hesitate, this is the guide who will make your trip unforgettable.

International understanding in a Chevrolet 🤣
We had a lovely day in a small group of 5 people with the driver Abdulloh.
Abdulloh is highly recommended!
Friendly, competent, speaks good English, can answer questions about the country and its people, and manages to create a good group atmosphere.
We laughed a lot and sang together. It was great!
Best regards, Susanne and Sabine

Really good experience,
We had a great day out with, Sardor.
He picked us up on time, the car was like new and very clean. We had a very enjoyable time going to the Sun Furnace, a good local restaurant for a meal and wine tasting. Thank you so much for a really good day out!

Wonderful trip
It was an all day long trip.
My guide, Farrukh was very knowledgeable about history.
From pickup from the train station to drop off he took good care of me like a child.
3 people small tour was perfect in size. Shopping at the carpet company was amazing for the quality and price of scarves.
Entire team from tour company worked very well organized.
Especially i didn't have internet service coming back to Tashkent.
Somehow they manage to meet me at the crowded train station.
Extra thanks for that.
Definitely recommend this trip!

Great guide
Akram my guide was a very nice person who really took care of me and made sure my trip was great. We went to so many great spots making the tour memorable.
One tip: That TV Tower was a bit of a let down, you go up only up to the 6th level and not the top level of the tower. I feel I had a better view of city from my hotel 😂
Generally all were interesting stuff

Great tour and I would recommend it but call it a walking tour.
Mr G’olib was an excellent guide. He was very informative and helpful. He showed us round some interesting places including the metro stations and also helped us get a good price for a football shirt in the Chorsu market.
I don’t think it should be marketed as a walking and food tour when there is no food included in the tour. Just call it a walking tour. We did go for a lovely traditional meal after the walk as Mr G’olib took us there, and it was very reasonable.

Loved glimpse of Tajikistan
Quite a big experience with travel getting to the border. The border is about 1 and a 1/2 km long which you have to walk. On our return we had to present passports four times. i couldn't get over how backward it was. Took me about to Checkpoint Charlie 55 years ago. However we were met at the other end by two delightful young Tajik men who took us around. They were so helpful and the guide spoke excellent English.

Fantastic
I had a wonderful experience doing this tour. Amir was in contact all the time, easy to reach and quick responses. All was coordinated, from the drivers picking you up / dropping off from/to hotels, trains, hotels and guides. It made our movement around Bukhara and Samarqand very easy. Totally recommended.

Magical Day in Samarcanda
Very well organized, a whole day to see the main sites of Samarcanda was enough.
Our guide Aziza and its driver were TOP, Aziza has a deep knowledge about the superb locations, names, dates and history which makes the tour much richer and more interesting, realize the culture, explain the details of the spectacularity of the buildings, it was truly enriching.
I was surprised by the rich history of this important site of the Silk Road, far exceeded expectations.
Aziza was always attentive to our well-being and the very characteristic hospitality of this people was also always present.

Fantastic day trip to Samarkand!
Mokhigul was an incredibly informative guide! The day was pretty nonstop- but she was also happy to let me stop & take pictures or shop if I wanted to as well. Yes, you are on your own for the train- but it is very straightforward & explained well by guides

Great tour to start trip with
I highly recommend this tour. We asked for ours to be focused on architecture, and that helps frame up a synthesis of the Islamic and Soviet/ Russian influences in culture, architecture, and politics, that have shaped the city. Tour guide Aziza was knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly.
