Villarrica Volcano is the most active in Chile! It has an open crater, emanates gases in permanence and according to its activity it is possible to see magma inside its crater. It is ideal for mountaineering, for beginners or for experienced people. The view from the summit (at 2847msnm) is breathtaking and allows to observe several lakes and volcanoes. When the volcano is snowy, the descent is done with sleds and it is possible to lower the entire volcano by sliding sitting. It is a unique experience that is not performed on any other mountain in the world! It's currently authorized to climb to the crater!

They will climb to the summit of the highest volcano in the Araucanía region. The promotion of the Chilean side is not very popular and we will not meet many people, it will be a total disconnection. The view from the summit (at 2,370 masl) is impressive and 360°, and allows you to observe several lakes and volcanoes, as well as the Andes mountain range on the Argentine side.
