What are people saying about Mexico City

What a great first day in CDMX
We had the pleasure having Axel as our tour guide. He showed us around El Centro and knew so much about the history, ecology and public art of Mexico City. Then he took us to 2 of the public markets and sampled coffee, tamales, tacos, mole paste and more! He showed us how to use the Metro, and brought us to a lovely family restaurant to make salsa to eat with our fresh tlacoyos made by his honorary “grandmother”. He made us feel like welcome visitors to Mexico City!

A fun experience! I took...
A fun experience! I took this cooking class with my sisters, and it felt just like cooking with a friend. The food was authentic Mexican home cooking at its finest, and enjoying our lunch together in Lucia’s gorgeous backyard was perfection. Such a nice memory from our time in Mexico City!

Our favorite experience in CDMX!
This was the best experience we had on our entire trip! Margarita welcomes you graciously into her beautiful home. The whole experience is paced very well: from refreshments on the patio, to making and enjoying appetizers, then making and enjoying an exquisite lunch with dessert, wine, everything is perfect. Margarita gives a masterclass in hospitality. We learned so much, the food was delicious, and we enjoyed wonderful conversation that made CDMX come to life. Margarita’s husband, an accomplished economist, stopped by to say hello and the enjoyable conversation continued. The recipes are authentic and also simple that we can recreate them at home. Everything is perfecto, thank you Margarita, our new friend!

Can't miss!
Chef Pame was the star of the show during this outstanding cooking class. There were vegetarian and gluten-free options available. We started with an appetizer and agua fresca while Pame introduced us to evolution of Mexican cuisine. She then guided us through Mercado Medellín, which included samples of fresh tortillas, chocolate, insects, and local fruits. Upon returning, Pame's energy was infectious. She provided high-energy, educational, and hands-on guidance to all the prep stations. We made sopes, tortillas, salsa roja and verde, mextlapiques, mole blanco, and pan de elote. Everything was delicious, and we made salsas of varying spice levels. I've had the pleasure of taking several cooking classes around the world, and Pame's class was easily my favorite. I left with an appreciation and understanding of the cultural significance of Mexican cuisine. Pame's love for her country, cooking, and profession were inspiring. We can't wait to plan a return visit to Mexico City to take another class with Pame!
