An unforgettable experience with Sergio.

This was truly an extraordinary tour and one of the highlights of my trip to Cyprus. Sergio was much more than a guide — he made the whole experience feel like a day spent with a new friend. Along the way, he shared fascinating stories about Cyprus, its history, geography, culture and geopolitics, giving us a much deeper understanding of the island and its people. What I appreciated most was that everything felt natural and relaxed. The conversations were friendly, open and spontaneous, and there was never a feeling that we were simply following a scripted tour. Sergio has a wonderful way of combining knowledge with genuine warmth and a great sense of hospitality. He made us feel comfortable from the very beginning and turned a beautiful trip around Cape Greco into a truly memorable experience. Thank you, Sergio, for the stories, the conversations, the beautiful places and, most of all, for the friendship. I came as a tourist and left feeling like I had made a new friend. Worthwhile tour

We had Fanos as our driver and guide. A German-speaking Cypriot who picked us up on time and was really super nice. He was able to answer all questions from the group and tell us a lot about the places we visited. The jeep tour started at the hotel and we drove directly into the northern part of Cyprus. There we visited the ghost town of Varosha and later Famagusta. After about a 45 min stay, we drove to the harbor and met the other guides with their groups for the swimming tour in the Blue Lagoon near Protaras. We had a great day with culture and fun. The whole thing took about 7 hours, so you should plan for the entire day.

A Perfect Way to Experience the History of Cyprus

Our guide, Chryso, was wonderful from the start. She picked us up right on time and immediately set the tone with her warm personality, deep knowledge, and the sweetest hospitality. The itinerary was packed with history yet never felt rushed. We visited castles, ancient ruins, UNESCO sites, the harbor and Aphrodite’s Rock and more, and each stop felt meaningful. Chryso always showed us where to get the best views and helped us understand what we were looking at which made the day feel so much richer. Lunch was a highlight too. Since we are staying in Ayia Napa during the off season and struggling to find authentic food, having her take us to a local spot was spectacular! The weather in late November was perfect around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Shorts, tanks and comfortable walking shoes were exactly right. We didn’t end up needing the jackets we brought just in case. My boyfriend wanted to see ruins and this tour exceeded both our expectations. We felt safe, well taken care of, and left with memories we’ll talk about for a long time. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Cyprus!!

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Cyprus Taste Tours on the Vino Venture Tour in the Limassol region (Fri, 31.10.2025)! Everything was perfectly organized – from convenient transportation to carefully selected wineries and delicious local lunches. A special thank you goes to our guide Panico, who made the day truly unforgettable. With his warm manner, humor and impressive knowledge of the Cypriot wine world and culture, he has made every stop a real highlight. Especially our second stop of the day – the Ayia Mavri winery in Koilani – remains in our best memory. The beautiful location, the excellent wines and the exciting history of the winery were simply extraordinary. If you want to discover the authentic taste of Cyprus – with great company and personal touch – don’t miss this tour! Absolutely recommended – we will book again the next time we are on the island! 🍷
