Tiring day but worth the effort

Was sceptical about booking this tour as it's a 50-50 chance but saw the reviews and went ahead with it anyways. I badly wanted to see the Northern Lights and of course capture a photo in person. Glad it all came true. Paul and SK were amazing throughout the tour and the bus driver too. Took all the effort to take us to Sweden as Finland was cloudy and we saw the Northern Lights exactly as advertised. Could only get the green aura but then can't ask for more after 4 hours of travel and hunting. Gave us hot coffee in the office initially and then took the perfect pictures for our social medias. Paul and SK were very enthusiastic and took multiple photos of everyone to feel better. It was the perfect tour and happy it all came down so well. Would recommend you all to book the tour as even though it says it's chancy, rest assured, it's a 90% chance of being successful as the tour group goes all in and takes every effort to make it come true. 10 hour Aurora hunt into Swedish Lapland!

The trip was PERFECT! we were very disappointed our first trip with another company was cancelled the day before, booked the small group trip with Lapin Tavias. And was loosing hope becuase of severe cloud cover, our guide Rasa drove us all the way into Swedish Lapland to find a clear sky! And when the Aurora arrived it was amazing! Even my iPhone camera was able to pick up the lights! Rasa took incredible photos and was brilliant. His enthusiasm for chasing the lights was infectious. And true to their promise, our 10 hour round trip was worth every minute. On the way back Rasa detected another aurora explosion and he stopped and got all of us to have another set of photos. The hot drink and sandwich was a lovely touch. The company had excellent communication from booking to WhatsApp message of the pick up times, drivers name and photo links. We would highly recommend this company and specifically our guide Rasa!

What an incredible...

What an incredible experience we had with Snowride Lapland! Our guide Mario was exceptional. He was funny and relaxed while still being very professional. The snowmobiles were very good quality and even came with hand warmers for both driver and passenger. My wife was very nervous to drive but after great teaching from Mario she tried out driving and had a wonderful time. There are many options for snowmobiling in Rovaniemi and I can’t recommend this operator enough for their quality, professionalism, and overall experience!

Had THE most amazing time snowmobiling with Nacho today. I (28) went with my mum (60) and we both had the best time and want to do it again! We had an incredible experience booking our Husky Tour. We had transport directly from our Airbnb to the kennel - Soulmate Kennels - near the Finnish border. The driver was friendly and talkative. The kennel itself was amazing. The dogs looked healthy and the scenery - oh, my, god. Endless taiga forests covered in snow and blue sky above with sunshine peeking through. The husky slushing itself is hard work - I much preferred being in the sleigh! One the best activities of our trip! We initially went to a beautiful place where the sky, the trees and the snow were creating a magical scenery. After a while, we saw the lights. This reindeer safari was one of the most beautiful and peaceful experiences we had in Lapland — truly a winter dream. The whole ride felt like stepping into a postcard: endless snow, silent forests, and that calm Arctic atmosphere that makes you slow down and just take it all in. The sleigh ride itself was magical — simple, quiet, and honestly the perfect way to experience Lapland nature in such an authentic way. Feeding the reindeer afterwards was also such a special moment, especially if you love animals and want a closer connection with the experience. One thing I really appreciated was the customer service and how attentive the team was. My partner and I were staying in Ivalo (around 45 minutes away) and I didn’t realize how far that was when I booked. The guide noticed immediately and messaged me right away to confirm our location, which I honestly appreciated so much — it saved us from last-minute stress. They also helped us arrange transportation and explained the options clearly. We ended up booking a private round-trip shuttle for 220 EUR for two people, which was super convenient and smooth. It’s not included in the tour price, but the fact that they proactively caught the issue and helped coordinate everything made the whole experience feel well-managed and cared for. This tour was a lot of fun. Our guide, Jade, was super upbeat and energetic. Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights, she still showed us a good time with roasting marshmallows and sausages. The husky and reindeer rides were both amazing. I highly recommend this tour.

Very good, exactly as promised

This is a very efficient way to do both activities. Our tour guide was superb, communicative, and super helpful throughout. In retrospect I would have just done the reindeer farm; the husky village is OK, but the trip itself isn't all that great and it's much less informative and enjoyable than the reindeer ride and farm visit.

A Successful Hunt Due to Persistent Guides

We had a great experience on this tour. Our guides were Santiago, Leevi, and Max. They were in good communication with other hunters and were persistent in finding clear skies; we drove all the way to Sweden and it paid off! We were on the group (bus) tour and we departed at 7:30pm and returned to Rovaniemi at 2:30am as most of the northern light activity occurred just around midnight. Wear ski pants if you have them as we did traverse some pretty snowy terrain to get away from the road. Guides were friendly, professional, persistent, and provided a link to download all the pictures they took of the tour participants. Great experience for us!
