This was a great...
This was a great experience. The class was very well organised and entertaining. The hosts were knowledgeable about the food history and cooking. The time went so quickly and before we knew it we were eating delicious ramen and gyoza. I would highly recommend this class, my daughter and I loved it.

Super yummy food and great class!
Such a fun time making noodles and gyoza! Yuki was a great guide and photographer, capturing all the fun moments of the class. It was nice to be able to try different broths with the ramen, as well as participate in the fried rice. Class was very easy and the food was delicious! My daughter and husband tend to not be very adventurous eaters, but they both thoroughly enjoyed the end products. Would definitely recommend this class! (And now my husband also wants one of the automated "beer pourers" that dispensed the beer at the class LOL)

A Peaceful and Unforgettable Experience
We had a wonderful experience at the tea ceremony in Kyoto. Everyone was so lovely, kind and welcoming, and the experience felt very inclusive and relaxed. The ceremony itself was incredibly peaceful and calm, and the beautiful traditional building made it even more special. We also got the opportunity to hold a samurai sword, which was a really memorable bonus! A fantastic experience and definitely one we’d recommend.

A very educational and enjoyable experience in Kyoto
This was more than just a tea ceremony - it was a history lesson combined with a traditional cultural experience. We had a large group of 9 (including a 2-year-old). We got a little lost trying to find them, but they came and found us wandering around. Our tea ceremony master Yukari was so knowledgeable, and she patiently answered all the questions we had. We didn't have to take off our shoes or sit on the floor. After explaining the history and significance of the tea ceremony, she taught us how to properly make the matcha and how to enjoy it with the traditional sweets. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Kyudo!
This is a great and memorable experience that I am very glad I got to try in my life. I’ve never shot a bow and even so they made me feel welcome and showed patience and encouragement. I would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Kyoto make sure to reserve a spot here.

Peace and Harmony found
Absolutely loved this experience with my teen daughters we dressed up in kimonos and had our hair done, the women helping us were so sweet and really became part of the experience. The tea ceremony was beautiful and our host was the epitome of peace and kindness. From now on every sip of matcha has a deeper meaning. We also were able to take photos dressed up in the tea house. This was a Kyoto must do.

A Wonderful Experience!
We had such a wonderful experience! Our hosts were so lovely and treated us to an authentic tea ceremony. The highlight for us was making our own matcha and learning all about the beauty and depth of the tea ceremony. I would highly recommend this to all who travel to Kyoto!

Lovely and Elegant Tea Ceremony
Our host had such a tranquil and calm speaking voice, we could’ve listened to him all day. His instructions were clear and guided us about all of the processes through the tea ceremony. Our hostess was simply lovely and elegant to watch during the entire ceremony. We appreciated the ability to sit cross-legged instead of kneeling, but a chair/stool was offered multiple times to those who needed it. We had a chance to stretch our legs between the actual ceremony and making our own tea. Although rainy, we also appreciated the ability to take in the garden scenery through the two large windows during the ceremony.

Wonderful, unique experience!
I chose a kimono (it was tough to decide on the color & pattern as they were all so beautiful), then was dressed in it by 3 lovely women (they were all so kind & helpful!), next I had my hair done delicately, them I choose lovely artificial flowers for my hair, lastly I was escorted to the tea room;
Ito spoke English well and was very knowledgeable about the tea ceremony traditions. It was such a honor to learn about and be witnessed the special tradition.
Then I had the privilege to continue to wear my kimono the rest of my day in Kyoto!!

A great museum and activity for the family
This was a fun activity and we learnt a lot about the history of samurais. A great museum with a lot of wonderful artefacts. Mana was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and energetic. The ninja star throwing was a highlight for us. Lots of fun!

Amazing ninja experience
What an amazing place! Definitely a highlight of my trip to Japan. I cannot recommend this place enough. I had a one hour ninja experience. You get to dress up as a ninja, learn about the history and various tools/weapons ninja used. I then had had a go at ninja stealth walking, shurikens, blowing darts, katana and ninja sword. They take photos (free of charge) during the class. My Sensei was extremely knowledgeable about ninja history and culture and she took the time to explain everything. Her English was really good. The experience didn't feel rushed at all (unlike some other places I had read reviews about), and they limit the classes to a low number of people. This is a real dojo where they also do ninjustu training. They have a shop with some artefacts that you can buy, and some old authentic artefacts. It felt really immersive and authentic. I cannot recommend this place enough, I wish I had known about the two hour class! Thank you so much to the whole team for making this experience so memorable!

Best Experience Ever!
Riku provided the best experience I’ve encountered thus far on my Japan Visit. I feel like I went through actual training to become a Samurai. I am grateful for the knowledge this museum had to offer. Thank you also to Riu for taking us on a guided tour and allowing us to interact with the history through artifacts.
