What are people saying about Chiang Mai

Well run class with many food options
This was a very well organized class. Food options available for many tastes including vegan and gluten free. The main instructor was able to communicate the various directions as not everyone was making the same dish and she had many helpers. The market tour was also very interesting. The nearly hour ride from old center city Chiang mai was in one of the converted pickup trucks. If you get motion sickness riding sideways bring some Dramamine.

Yummy Tasty Kitchen Delicious Fun
We had to switch our reservation last minute and not only did sky pick us up at our hotel, but she was kind, personable and so fun the entire morning! The class was very knowledgeable as we went to the market first to collect ingredients and learn about Thai cuisine. The food we cooked was delicious and there was so much to eat, sky bagged the rest to take home with us! The class was one of our favorite memories of our trip and we are looking forward to cooking Thai food when we get home.

Beautiful setting, lush...
Beautiful setting, lush landscaping, clean, air conditioned learning/dining space worth the extra money. A tour of the food market as well as a hands-on tour of the gardens very educational. Our instructor was fun and knowledgeable, although she moved at a rapid pace. Dishes were all tasty and left us full. Recipe book was a nice gift.

Early start but worth every minute
This was a great tour and a wonderful introduction to the temples outside the Old City. It's an early start but so worth it to see the sunrise on Doi Suthep and how the monks go about their morning rituals. Tom was a great guide. Would definitely recommend.

Fiery and overflowing with flavor, Northern Thai cuisine is considered one of Asia’s best. Creamy noodle soups, spicy sausages, and sweet-and-sour salads characterize Chiang Mai’s culinary scene, which differs from the rest of Thailand. Chiang Mai cooking classes let you delve deeper into the region’s culinary culture by showing you how to create authentic dishes using traditional Thai tools and ingredients. While the taste on your tongue might fade, your new-found knowledge of how to make khao soi (curry noodle soup) and tam khanun (jackfruit salad) will last much longer.
