All Bishkek Tours & Excursions in 2026

This was a good experience to get you introduced to parts of Bishkek and Kyrgyz food. We went to a few different establishments having something for breakfast, lunch, and dessert. We also walked around a bit in the historical center and through the Orsu Bazaar. It is a different way to see a city, and all the food was very tasty..

We ended up being the only 2 people on this tour, and our guide, Manas, picked us up on time in his car and drove us to the mountains. He was really friendly and easy going, and his English was very good. Once in the mountains we had as long as we wanted to walk with him through the area which was really stunning - we walked around 7 miles in all. We took some amazing photos and have some great memories of the day. We got back to the city (he dropped us at our hotel) by early afternoon. In all the length was just right and the price was very reasonable. Many thanks Manas - we had a lovely time.

I had an absolutely fantastic private hiking tour to Ala Archa National Park with Ventura Tours. Communication with the company was excellent from the beginning, and the pickup was perfectly on time. My guide, Baisal, was wonderful. During the drive, he shared many interesting stories about Kyrgyzstan, its culture and history. Having a separate driver and guide was a real advantage, as Baisal could focus entirely on the conversation and on making the experience enjoyable. The hike itself was incredible, with spectacular mountain views and beautiful scenery throughout. As it was a private tour, we could keep a comfortable pace without worrying about other people being faster or slower. We also enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch provided by the guide beside the waterfall—such a memorable setting! I especially appreciated that the team operated the tour on 31 August, a national holiday, and during the SCO summit, despite road closures and traffic restrictions. They handled everything professionally and still made sure I was safely dropped back at my hotel. A truly amazing day and one of the highlights of my time in Kyrgyzstan.
