This tour has been amazing from start to finish thanks to our fantastic guide, Axsultan. Communication on the WhatsApp group was very smooth and Ax provided all the practical information we needed with many details, from the weather forecast at each sightseeing location to the exact schedule and what we should bring. Pick-up in Almaty was available at 3 locations and was on time. During the tour, we had enough time at all sightseeing locations (about 2 hours at each location) and everyone was on time. The weather was very cold, but the temperature inside the bus was always warm and comfortable, and the seats were also comfortable. We had enough stops for restrooms and food and everything was well organized. Ax provided interesting information on a wide range of topics throughout the trip and made everyone feel comfortable with his positive energy and kindness. He made sure we all had a good time and enjoyed our trip to the fullest, and he created a good atmosphere in the group. The trip definitely would not have been the same without him. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever done. As for the sightseeing locations, it was a beautiful mix of different landscapes, and we didn’t drive for too long between each spots (1h30-2 hour max). It’s definitely worth taking the 2 days 1 night tour - 1 day would be rushing it. The tour was very informative and Ax gave it an inspirational touch with his love for nature. I would recommend this tour to everyone who wants to visit Kazakhstan. Thank you!

Great experience!

It was a great tour where we saw and experienced a lot. The hikes were adapted to the participants so that everyone could join in. The Kazakh lunch with a friendly family was delicious and very hearty. Jibek is a very likable young guide who led us competently and caringly. The early wake-up call was worth it!

Huge recommendation

Wow! Fantastic! You really have a lot of time at the stops to explore and also walk around so that you don't have the feeling that you just sat in the car all day, even though it is a lot of driving. Our guide Akser was great! She explained everything very well and the atmosphere was top-notch! All in all a great experience

Great 2-day tour from Almaty to see some of nature’s finest

Great way to see some of nature’s unique and remarkable beauty. The pace was right and the mountain guest house room was new and spotless. Food was basic but no complaints. The best treat was the aerial drone video our guide Zhenis made of our group at Kandy lake. The only mishap was the van motor went “clunk” and died at an intersection and required some male muscle pushing. Fortunately we were back in the city. Hopefully the company can improve its transportation maintenance.

Very beautiful trip with impressive landscapes

The Aktau Mountains and the Singing Dunes are super impressive! The tour guide (Roman) was great and the tour was in a pleasant group size. If you want, you can hike a bit further up, for example at the Aktau Mountains; the guide quickly noticed that we like to hike a lot and thus let us explore a bit individually, which we really appreciated.

Fabulous Canyon and lakes experience!

We had a fabulous experience in our private tour to the canyons and the lakes. Zandhos was our private guide and he gave us a splendid experience. He was calm, composed and trustworthy. He explained the significance of the sites we visited with a lot of passion and guided us through the journey. He was also sensitive to give us enough time by ourselves to soak in the experiences especially at the lakes where we wanted to spend more time. Overall I would recommend this private tour and Dos was a fabulous English speaking guide and is highly recommended.

Fantastic day of exploring Kazakhstan's incredible landscapes! The wide-open, endless views at Assy Plateau were breathtaking, the hike to Bear Waterfall was super refreshing, and finishing the trip by the turquoise waters of Issyk Lake made for a perfect day in nature. Shymbulak and Koktobe were beautiful

Shymbulak was the highlight of this trip. Beautiful views at the top and even in the cable car ride. We travelled in July and it was hot! The cable car ride felt long and unbearable because of the weather. Abukhair, our guide was great, and took time to show us around and despite the hot weather, his spirits were high. Medeu ice rink was closed and there was nothing much to do there other than getting a coffee. The green bazar is a good place to get some souvenirs. Koktobe had nice views of the city and the fast coaster is a must do.

Memorable trip to Lake Almaty

It was a very memorable experience, with the guide Yerkin speaking good English and explaining it professionally. This trip to Lake Almaty was for six people, and the small group ensured a good play experience without being crowded. Guide Yerkin also brought his own drone, and everyone will have an exclusive video to keep as a souvenir. It's a long way to Lake Almaty and climbing, so it's really necessary to sign up for a tour.
