- A moderate amount of walking is involved covering approx. 1.2 miles (2km) at the pace of the group’s participants
- Small groups (no more than 20 people)
- Tour encompasses uneven surfaces, cobblestones, worn sandstone flagging stairs and steps; while these elements of the tour have never been considered to be strenuous by most people, for others this may be considered as an unsuitable activity.
- Comfortable walking shoes, hat and a bottle of water suggested
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress to the predicted weather conditions appropriate for an outdoor activity
- Children and Infants must be accompanied by an adult
- Meeting point is easily accessible on foot for cruise arrivals/ shore excursions
- Wheelchair (manual) and pram friendly route
- Tour is wheelchair accessible however be prepared for uneven surfaces at the sites visited which may be difficult for those with walking disabilities or using a powered wheelchair/ scooter

The the tour was a very informative walking tour of the rocks area of Sydney. Dee was Artu God and was very knowledgeable about the area and it’s history as the first settlement in Sydney Harbor area.

This was a wonderful overview of the history of Sydney while taking us through the area where the British founded their colony--The Rocks. George was an outstanding guide--informative and entertaining. He brought life into what could a dry subject. My guess is he has a love of history--and we benefited from that. I have done this tour twice now in the last 18 months and rated it highly both times. The tour is a good length (not too long or short) and the guides tell a good story about how and why Sydney was settled. Very informative and a great way to start your stay when visiting.

Vickie was a knowledgeable and thorough tour guide! The tour was leisurely and gave a person unfamiliar with Australian/Sydney history a good overview. The tour is 90 minutes but doesn't involve a lot of stairs or long walking periods. They also provide you with an earbud and whispertone transmitter so you can hear her regardless of your proximity/street noise. The tour ends and begins at the same location, The Rocks Walking Tour office. There is an excellent French cafe located directly behind it.
