Itinerary
Following pickup at your hotel in Nassau, transfer to the marina and board the powerboat for an adventurous day exploring some less-visited Bahamian islands.
Stop at Allen's Cay to see the population of endangered rock iguanas. A closely monitored population, the successful breeding program has left the tiny island with more than 1,000 iguanas for you to feed and photograph.
Back on board your powerboat, the captain will hit the gas and you'll fly off toward Ship Channel Cay. The island is just 2 miles (3km) long and a half-mile (1km) wide, affording great views of the sea in every direction.
Stroll the shores or make use of the complimentary snorkel equipment to explore the undersea world. Float over coral reefs, see tiny fish feeding on the underwater plant life or feed the local stingrays and sharks with your guide.
Grab a drink from the island bar, then dig into a lunch of island grouper, salads, bread, chargrilled steak and tropical fruit platters.Observe the preparation of a fresh Bahamian conch salad, a staple dish in the Bahamas, then taste the results.
At the conclusion of your day exploring, return to Nassau for drop-off at your hotel.

We had the BEST time with Powerboat Adventures, easily the highlight of our trip.
They picked us up and dropped us off for free, which was already a huge plus. The ride out was a little rough at first because of choppy water, but they were super attentive and even offered to move us to the back if we felt uncomfortable.
Our first stop was the iguanas, and I honestly thought it was going to be quick, but it wasn’t rushed at all. We each got multiple handfuls of grapes to feed them and spent a good 30 minutes there just enjoying it.
Then we headed to their private island (which they own, so it was just our group) We met the bartender Alex, who was amazing and definitely had a heavy hand with the drinks lol. We got to feed the pigs and I even got to hold a baby pig, which was such a cool moment.
They had a full buffet of fresh food, snacks before the meal, and unlimited drinks the entire time everything was included and again, nothing felt rushed.
After that was the shark show, and this part was insane. I had a waterproof case on my phone and the guides actually took it and got the coolest underwater shots of the sharks for me.
By the end, my stomach was sore from laughing so much. The ride back was smooth, relaxing, and the perfect way to end the day.
10/10 best tour ever. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

This was such a great experience! We loved feeding the iguanas, pigs and sting rays. Getting to see the sharks up close was so cool. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time.

It was so much fun! And the staff driving the boat helping us with things ensure, everything was wonderful. And finally, the food prepared was excellence.

No snorkeling what so ever. We only booked for that reason and could not use our own equipment even. False advertising. Otherwise workers were polite and food was good.
Scott_M, Feb 2026
The price of this adventure was not worth the money. In short, this was a pricey speedboat ride and lunch.
Feeding the iguanas was on, but limited to a very small beach and about 15 mins.
The original ad for this adventure included a guided snorkel tour, but that never happened. Rather, we went to their private island and stayed there for nearly 3 hours. We were only allowed to wade in the water. They got very made when you tried to snorkel off their shore.
The pigs were there own captive pigs. And the shark show was them throwing bait to the sharks and then reeling them in.

Wonderful people and a beautiful experience. We loved every moment! Skilled people who helped at all points.

Considering the tour was cancelled and I received NO correspondence about the tour being cancelled and a month later I have not received my money back, I would not recommend. It is outrageous that I have to file a claim to get a refund on a tour that was knowingly cancelled.

We took a Power Boat tour to Exuma's. They owned (or lease) the island. It was amazing experience. I was a little concerned traveling on the ocean for over an hour each way. But I think we got lucky with low tide. The ride was easy.
I was also concerned about safety. But the tour operator had 7 people on staff for a boat size about 50 people. More than enough in case of emergency.
Once we got to the island, it was a magical experience! They had food for us. Nothing fancy, but good enough! I was not there for the food lol.
I'm not really a nature guy and thought I would fear the pigs, stingrays, and iguanas. But I was at ease once I saw everyone else interacting with them. Having said that, one iguana did try to bite my daughter's finger, instead of going after the food. This had to be intentional as the grape was on a long stick. But we just laughed it off. I was still afraid of the sharks LOL, even though everything I read about nurse sharks is that they are harmless (generally speaking). The remoteness and crystal-clear water was breath taking. This was the best experience of my 51-year life. Don't be afraid, Go! Go! Go! You only live once.
Having said the above, they could have communicated with us better or prepared a FAQ page so that we don't ask too many questions. They should state that they will pick you up at the hotel lobby, where taxi drop off and pick up is. This will make it clearer. We did stay at Atlantis, and the meeting point was very close by. I could have been a long walk, but do 'able. Its just under the bridge on the island side. We actually did not leave until 9:45, but that was fine. We were back around 5PM. Still felt the time on the island was perfect. We were ready to go by 2:30 and did not leave until 3. So, it was totally fine. I just did some surfing on the phone waiting. The bartender, Steve, was wonderful. He told us we could Airbnb a couple of houses they have for $1K a night. If you load up 8 people, it won't be so bad. I will def do one night when I retire!

This was one of the best excursions I have done! This was the best part of my Bahamas vacation. My son and I had a mommy and me day away from the resort and it was nothing short of spectacular! Conch salad was the best on the island. The buffet was very filling and a lot of options. The staff were professional and so amazing!

The staff at Powerboat Adventures are so nice and you will love the private island. It’s beautiful and they prepare a wonderful lunch and feeding sting rays is awesome as well. The shark show is fantastic as well.

Amazing experience for the entire family. Took my children, ages 10, 8 and 3, as well as my mom on this trip. Initially I was concerned if my youngest would be too young for this, but it was awesome!! The crew is amazing, Alex was a great host at the bar/buffet at the island. We got to see sharks, iguanas, sting ray and swimming pigs.
Ryan_H, Oct 2024
Nice peaceful relaxing boat ride to islands. Open bar was a nice touch, experiences feeding and interacting with pigs, iguanas, sting rays and sharks. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this tour again. Highly recommend this tour. Crew were super friendly and informative.

Awesome time! Definitely worth it :-) The team was very generous and everyone gets a chance to do everything. They always put your safety first. Made really great memories with my wife for our 15 year anniversary ❤️
jeffreyj_k, July 2019
They book entirely to many people for this attraction. Two boat full of 50 people. Sitting around waiting your turn got old fast. There are a couple other companies doing the same trip......try them!!
Chay M, July 2019
I am happy to say the island was beautiful, food was amazing, staff was top notch. The interactions were very sad to watch, too many people and too many hungry animals waiting to be fed. I would pay this and more just for the boat ride, staff, knowledge one on one I had with guides about particular animals, plants, and facts about the people than interacting with animals who deserve to be natural in their habitat. I understand that tourist are attracted to exploiting animals for photo memories so this makes sense for an interactive experience. It would be nicer for people to be able to just be bystanders. But that is just me. I enjoyed my experience of letting the island be itself and witnessing it for what it is without having to disrupt it too much.

Had an awesome time on this excursion! The crew was super friendly and energetic. The highlight was snorkeling and eating fresh conch. The pigs were super cute as well. Worth every penny!

We had such an amazing time. The staff was friendly and very helpful. There was plenty of food and drinks. The pigs were awesome too! My favorite part was the making of the conch salad.

Excellent excellent trip the crew was amazing very attentive and knowledgeable from the iguanas to the swimming pigs, sting ray feeding and also the sharks then we snorkeling omg everything was just soo perfect and they have a opens bar and the lunch was really really delicious I will do this again when ever I visit again and if your going to the Bahamas this is a MUST Do
Christopher B, Aug 2018
Remon was very helpful with the snorkeling, answered all our questions, and took care of everything. The trip was tons of fun. The iguanas was the the first stop and great to see and feed. Very cute. We then moved on to Exuma island. All the activities were fantastic, well run, and fun for all ages. Snorkeling, sharks, rays, and pigs were fun. The food was good too. A previous review said no one was keeping an eye out of for the sharks. This was not true. There was always someone keeping an eye out and had a long metal pole to keep the sharks away. Once the feeding of the sharks was done, they moved into another area near the dock, but did not cause any problems while we were there. We relaxed and had a great day! Thank you!
Annette_S, July 2018
Crew well versed in seamanship and skills to facilitate snorkeling, learning about iguanas, pigs, sharks and manta rays. Food was well prepared and drinks flowing smoothly, either alcoholic or soft. All in all a wonderful way to spend a day in the Bahamas!!!
Elena_F, Apr 2018
amazing day, very beautiful place, very nice and friendly stuff, delicious food.

My daughter and I had an amazing day! It was our only excursion during our
trip to Nassau...very beautiful and fun filled. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
SABRINA_C, Feb 2018
This really was a lot of fun! It was just as described. The team at Powerboat Adventures were very professional and the food was great! Just a small suggestion: be sure to bring your own beach towels.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our exuma powerboat adventure. We were taken by boat to the beautiful exuma cays with crystal clear blue water where we had the chance to snorkel, feed iguanas, and stingrays. We also enjoyed the shark show and the fresh made buffet of salads, steak, and fish. The reason we gave three stars is because we saw opportunities for improved safety precautions and procedures. For example, we noticed that while swimming in the water no one was surveying the water for sharks. A staff member should be designated on the shore with a whistle to warn swimmers of sharks and/or spots in which they should not be swimming. Women should also be instructed to remove jewelry prior to entering the water. A safe experience is a fun experience. Safety should be made the 1 priority for this tour group.
jbrofford, Dec 2017
Super fun excursion if you are in to wildlife Iguanas, Stingrays, and sharks - well worth the time and money. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Michael M, Nov 2017
Fantastic! Incredible! A day we will never forget. Beautiful isolated island, great food and drinks. Sharks, stingrays and many beautiful fish. Make sure you are a good swimmer as the current in the channel that you will snorkel in is fairly strong and swift. The powerboat was a fantastic way to travel. Kudos to our hosts who took great care of other customers who were a bit irresponsible with their drinking. A great time. We would do it again if we are ever in Nassau!
