An absolute must-do!

Don’t be put off by the Segway … this is the most enjoyable way to circumnavigate Uluru! If you can step up and down, forward and back, and stand up straight, you’ll nail the Segway! Our tour started with a pickup from our hotel and a short drive to a sunrise viewing spot of Uluru. We enjoyed a light breakfast of hot beverages, juices, muesli and muffins. Although the weather didn’t provide a sunrise, we did witness clouds sitting on top of Uluru which was quite memorable. After a short drive, we arrived near Uluru. After breaking into two small groups, our group walked to Mutitjulu waterhole with Will who was very informative throughout the tour. When we returned from the waterhole, we began our Segway training - each honing our skills on a training track. We then set off with Will on our trip around the rock. Once we mastered the segways, we were able to look around and take in the astounding beauty of our surroundings. We stopped regularly so Will could give us an informative chat about culture, history and geology … even a bit of biology. He was very knowledgeable! From pick up to drop off the tour was around 5 and a half hours. We were a bit disappointed to have to leave the segways behind and hop back on the bus. Overall, this was an absolute highlight and considering we did so much walking on our Uluru holiday, the Segway provided a welcome deviation! A brilliant way to see Uluru!

Really epic experience....

Really epic experience. The actual rock is much more amazing and grand than you can imagine until youre there. Its difficult to describe with words or pictures. I took a thousand pics which are beautiful but- they just dont compare to neing there looking at it with your eyes. Amazing place. Ull know what i mean when u are standing next to it. Also, i proposed to my girlfriend at the Kantju Gorge part of the tour - aaand she said Yes!! Wooooh !!

Buyers beware: only worth the long trip if you do the Rim Walk or add the helicopter flight!

We did the day trip to Kings Canyon and the service was spotless. The coach was incredibly comfortable, clean, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver. The hot breakfast on the road was actually really good too. However, it is honestly not worth doing this long trip if you only go for the Kings Creek Walk. The bottom path is an easy, flat 1-hour walk, it is beautiful, but you can see very similar gorge views back in Uluru or Kata Tjuta without spending so many hours on the road. Plus, if you choose the short walk, you finish early and the operator takes you to Kings Canyon Station to wait for about 3 hours for the rest of the group. The food at the resort's pub is surprisingly good, but sitting around for 3 hours in the middle of the day feels way too long. The tour is definitely worth it if you do the Rim Walk, or if you add the helicopter flight like we did! Booking the scenic flight was a total game-changer and made the whole journey absolutely worth it. Flying over the sandstone domes and seeing the real depth of the canyon from above was magnificent and unforgettable. Highly recommended tour, but it only makes sense if you tackle the Rim Walk or take the helicopter to the sky!

Incredible Experience!

Such an incredible experience! Seeing the rock from up high and Kata Tjuṯa was definitely the best highlight of my trip here. The professionalism of this company is top standard. Picked up on time, given all the relevant information, safety and some highlighted comments from the pilot on the flight. So good!

Red centre experience

It was worth the experience. I never regretted booking this tour. I booked for 3days, 2nights eco tent. I loved the proper sheets, duvet and bed on my booking. I got a battery power pack in my tent which I do not need to compete with others in the power outlet. The tour operator picked and dropped us off on our accommodations in Alice springs. The whole trip was worth it as I enjoyed the view and experience. I met a lot of people which I did not feel I was alone in the trip. It was well timed trip by waking up early morning for breakfast to catch sunrises of different locations such as Uluru and Kings Canyon. The food was good and we can have seconds if we are still hungry and lots of snack and toilet breaks along the way. The tour guide was nice and approachable.

It's all in the...

It's all in the itinerary. It's a wonderful and respectful way to experience Uluru and understand some of the stories they have. They team I was with Andy ( our driver) and Yad ( our tour guide) were knowledgeable and respectful. Andy made sure we got both there and back safe, waiting to make sure we all made it back into the gates or reception area of our accommodation, when we were back in Alice Springs, before departing. Yad was knowledgeable and experienced with many stories to tell and made us all comfortable and helped us understand the area. They and the team at Uluru cooked us a feast and the food and drinks were both delicious and classics. So glad I picked this experience.

Uluru at sunset and under the stars -10/10!

This tour is a great mix of visiting the cultural center, seeing Uluru as you drive around it in a comfortable coach, with a short walk to the waterhole along with some stories about the area and the history of Uluru, followed by a drive to watch as the sunset across the rock while you enjoy canapés and wine/softdrinks. Truly magical. But they saved the best for last and that was the beautiful bbq dinner under the stars close to Uluru where we engaged in conversations with people from all over the world and were treated to a delicious meal and plenty of wine. They ended the evening with star gazing which was simply unbelievable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants a more relaxed (not real physical) experience here at Uluru. Amazing overall experience and very well run.

Dave and Jessie was so...

Dave and Jessie was so kind and caring. Taking care of all of us. The tour was amazing. I wasn’t a morning person and too excited to fall asleep the night before. I was worrying too intense of the walk. But I was spot on. Challenging enough but I also feel very safe with both guide leading and wrapping up.

This was such a perfect way to enjoy the sunset after completing another tour earlier in the same day. Emilia was delightful and we were in good hands with her to enjoy our experience with drinks, photographs, laughs that created a wonderful vibe with the group. Totally recommend if you want something short, sweet and have enough time to get back for your evening's dinner reservations afterwards.

Dont miss this one!

The whole tour was wonderful from start to finish. The tour guide Carolyn was fantastic and so knowledgeable. Got picked up at 4:15 am and headed out for the short ride. Was able to walk down to the display to see if up close. Just fascinating and do much color. We came back up to the viewing area for coffee/hot chocolate and a biscuit and sat and watched the sunrise. One of our best tours of the trip! Back at the resort by 6:30am!

Fun way to experience Uluru

Fun way to experience Uluru. Nick and Cy taught our group how to ride our Segways, which provided a cool way to travel around the rock and see it close up. Nick shared history and other interesting info about the rock and the people of Uluru. Note that the weather is very warm during January with lots of flies. Buy head nets at the town square market to avoid being attacked by flies!!
