Perfect morning at the beach / La mañana perfecta en la playa
Perfect morning in Quepos / Manuel Antonio. We were just expecting to go in kayaks and snorkeling, but we also had time to visit Playa Biensanz which we both wanted to visit anyways - so it was a bonus we got to arrive by water. On the shore we saw monkeys and sloths, lots of crabs etc. and the guide Mario provided a snack so we could refuel for the ride back to where we launched. Snorkeling we saw about 8-10 kinds of fish, some in large schools, and corals. It had just rained so we only had about 2.5 meters of visibility but it was still amazing to see so much beautiful marine life. 11/10 recommend!

Amazing mangrove kayak experience!
We saw a lot of wildlife on this tour — our guide Jencarlos was very knowledgeable and genuinely committed to responsible viewing, no disturbing or feeding the animals, just quiet observation. Kayaking made it even better: no engine noise, just silently gliding through the mangroves, which made the whole experience feel truly connected to nature.
Highly recommend — five stars!

Dancing mosquitoes and white faced monkeys
Fun little kayaking tour of the mangrove and all its creatures and fauna and flora. Filipe is a story teller and he made the tour very entertaining. We saw the white faced monkey Scarface as well as another family just hanging around, jumping from tree to tree. On the tour, we saw a sleeping boa constructor, several basilisks or Jesus Christ lizards, a huge iguana up high in the tree, and a few dancing mosquito troupes.

Ride the Buffalo!
Well organized and entertaining. Ride the Buffalo, that is important!
Memo was our guide and he is very well versed in the wildlife and the overall environment you are operating in. Great family excursion. We saw white faced monkeys, lizards, birds, Cayman, etc. Definitely try this one out.

Relaxing kayak trip
It was a calm trip through a beautiful mangrove forest. Our guide was relatively new, but informative and enthusiastic. We did not see a lot of wildlife on our trip. However, we did learn quite a bit about the mangrove environment from our guide.
A few logistical notes:
> The tour indicated they would provide bottle water, but they did not on this trip. My wife and I were fine as we had brought our own, but others on our trip didn't have water during the kayaking.
> It went longer than planned. I think the end time was quoted as 4:30pm, but after a meal at the end of the trip (which we skipped), the end had to be more like 6:00pm. The tour operator was able to run us back to our hotel while others in the group had the meal, which we appreciated. Again, the timing was not an issue for us as we were flexible on time that day, and had other meal plans.
> Communication from the tour operator was good. The actual time of the tour depends on high tide, so our time changed from 10:00am originally posted to 1:00pm. The operator let us know the time change very soon after the booking. Pick up at our hotel was as communicated in advance.
Overall, an enjoyable kayaking tour with an informative guide.

Great way to explore the Mangrove eco-system.
It was a nice kayak excursion. Start time is determined by the tides, so look at early high tide schedule and that's a out when the trout will start. ( Not necessarily the time listed in Viator). Our guide was good..He knew the animals and the unique characteristics of the plants.
