Such a Fun and Memorable Nile Experience!

This was such a fun and memorable experience! The sunset felucca sail was beautiful, the food was great, and the captain and entire team were so welcoming and friendly. One of the highlights was the music and dancing — Talaba the drummer brought so much energy and turned the evening into a full dance party. It made the experience feel really special and lively. The team at Egypt Getaway Tours was also very attentive and communicative from beginning to end, which made everything feel easy and well organized. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun and unique evening on the Nile!

Great time and very knowledgeable, highly recommended

I requested a fun guide as we were going to spend nost of the day with them. We were presented with Mahmoud and Adbul, two young men with good humor and big smiles. Our guide Abdul was super knowledgeable. He pumped us full of info, about Egypt's entire history and then specifically about the sites around Luxor and relation between each of the sites, kings/queens and historical events. Today we were on another tour in Giza and was able to have quite the conversations with the guide who was an archeologist - proof that all the info that Abdul shared with us stuck and made us soem of the most informed tourists in Egypt this week 😁 Spend a few minutes before the tour to get a very high level overview of what it is you will be seeing and from what period. Ask for Mahmoud and Abdul, I guarantee you will enjoy the day and feel like a semi professional egyptologist in the afternoon. So much to see and absorb - choose to do so with Mahmoud and Abdul.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!!! I highly recommend this experience. The guide was amazing and a true Egyptologist. His wisdom was beyond anything I have ever heard. Do be prepare to do lots of walking but it's totally worth it. Loved that it was private and catered to our needs.

Excellent tour, with a lot of depth during the three hours spent visiting Karnak and Luxor temples. The temples are magnificent and should be in any visitor's list for Luxor. I was lucky enough to be paired with a guide that had led me in a tour of the West side of Luxor: Amira. Amira has a ton of knowledge and experience (she has been a guide for 26+ years). So, I was able to obtain a lot of depth during my tour, learning through digestible updates provided by Amira. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Amira as the guide.

The best tour with Emad and Tamer!

Emad was THE best tour guide I’ve ever had. I’ve experienced quite amount of tour guides, and his explanation was so easy to understand, it was more of a story telling. He was also very knowledgeable but didn’t over explain with overwhelming information. People have different interests part of the history and he is able to adapt the information and answering the questions. Also the driver Tamer was very attentive and very kind. What truly stood out was his kindness and attentiveness. He assisted to arrange a wheelchair for us and personally assisted throughout the trip, ensuring everything was smooth and comfortable. He was extremely friendly, professional, and well-spoken, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We felt well taken care of from start to finish. We had a lovely few hours on our tour. The drive was smooth and comfortable, and the car was clean and well-maintained. Sawsan was wonderful very kind to my son and genuinely friendly. She struck the perfect balance by not overwhelming us with too much information, which we really appreciated, and she also gave helpful advice for our time in Luxor. A must try!

This was a beautiful experience. Captain Sabri and his partner welcomed us kindly on the felucca. They made conversation and kept us company, but also provided us with space and time for ourselves. We were provided with karkare (hibisucs tea) as per the package. We would definitely recommend them to our friends. Nile on a felucca on a pleasant day - a must-do. Please note the Nile waters In Luxor are way more dreamier than in Cairo.

Really good trip....

Really good trip. Fascinating to watch the sun rise while a field of hot air balloons were being blown up. The hamper was large and fit 16 passengers (4 per compartment). I got a great panaramic photo when the pilot rotated the balloon. So glad I had a wrist strap on my phone so I could take photos leaning out of the hamper.
