This tour was fantastic, the whole experience allowed for plenty of social interaction, learning and some breathtaking views of the temples and the Nile. The activities were well paced and varied. Our tour guide was Mohamed Gobran who had an unbelievable breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm that brought the whole experience to life.

We had an absolutely fantastic tour of the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Valley of the Queens, Medinet Habu and the Tombs of the Artisans with Abdel as our guide. Our vehicle was initially a little small for our group, but Abdel immediately made the effort to arrange a larger vehicle for us, which we really appreciated. From there, he continued to go above and beyond throughout the entire day. Abdel was incredibly kind, polite and energetic, with a wonderful manner that made the whole experience so enjoyable. His English was excellent, and his knowledge was truly impressive. Every question we asked, no matter how detailed, was answered thoroughly and with genuine enthusiasm. He could even read the hieroglyphics for us, which brought so much more meaning to what we were seeing. What stood out most was how warmly Abdel was greeted everywhere we went. The people working at the sites and other guides clearly knew him and would smile and greet him warmly, and we were repeatedly told that we had one of the best guides. After spending the day with him, we completely understood why! Abdel made history feel alive rather than simply giving us facts. He was engaging, patient, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he does. His energy and personality added so much to the experience. Abdel most certainly lived up to his reputation as “the best guide.” We are incredibly grateful to have had him show us this incredible part of Luxor and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone visiting.

Mostafa is very friendly and professional tour guide. His vehicle is superb clean, comfy, and has strong AC - which is a real lifesaver in Egyptian heat. Throughout the trip, he shared many interesting facts about the places we visited. We’re very satisfied with his service and highly recommend him to anyone wanting a private tour in Luxor.
