I’ve had an amazing time...
I’ve had an amazing time during this trip! Our tour guide (Sumit Kharel) was brilliant, gave us so much detailed information in every site, and was very accommodating to all of us requests! The people I’ve met were also fantastic and made this entire guide one I won’t forget. I’ve already suggested this to my friends!

I was looking for guided tour on last minute and so lucky to get this tour. Since the first time the response is fast and friendly, and my guide Manoj, has been a very plessant and knowledgable companion. It feels like I was traveling with an old friend.

Highly recommend!
I can’t recommend them enough! Bhuddi met before my trip to go over all the details and answer questions,. He kept me informed about my early morning hotel pickup by text. They arranged to let me get off in Lukla after the tour so I could stay a couple days. Then they took care of getting me on a shared helicopter ride from Lukla back to Katmandu and to my surprise he made sure I got from the airport to my hotel which I was not expecting. Highly recommend!

Unique Cultural Experience
Matt and I had an absolutely incredible experience at this Khukuri knife-making workshop in Kathmandu. We were so appreciative that they picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, which made everything very easy and welcoming from the start.
The workshop took place behind their beautiful family home, which made the experience feel extremely personal and authentic. They welcomed us with delicious milk tea and treated us with such genuine hospitality throughout the day.
We loved being able to hand forge our own knives completely from scratch and even personalize them. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing their craft and culture with us.
This was far more than just a workshop — it was a rewarding hands-on cultural experience and one of our favorite memories from Kathmandu. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Nepal!

Fabulous UNESCO sites tour!
We had a wonderful half day tour with our excellent guide, Punam. We visited four sites and had ample time to learn about each site and explore on our own. We were able to customize the tour as we had already visited The Monkey Temple, so we visited Kathmandu’s Durbar Square instead, which was a must see! We enjoyed visiting these sites on Buddha’s birthday along with the locals. All in all, we enjoyed our time with Punam, who was friendly, warm and knowledgeable. We highly recommend her and this experience.

Fun, delicious 5 star food tour!
We had an incredible food tour in Kathmandu with Deepak Nepali, who brought the city’s culture to life through its food. Wandering through the rainy streets of Thamel and nearby neighborhoods made it even more atmospheric.
We stopped at four restaurants and two street vendors, sampling a variety of Newari and local Kathmandu specialties—every bite was delicious. A perfect way to experience the heart of the city!
We highly recommend Deepak’s food tour. Come hungry!!!

Best way to see the top sites!
Prasant was the perfect guide for our visit to the Unesco sites of Kathmandu- he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and allowed us time to explore sites on our own as well. We had such a wonderful time that we hired him the next day to take us to additional spots- such a great experience!

A Wonderful Window into Nepal
After having traveled to over 70 countries and taken my fair share of tours, our guide on this tour, Bidhya, was quite possibly the best tour guide I've ever had. We started our morning with a pick up at our hotel where Bidhya was waiting and drove out to Nagarkot for a short hike through the hills halfway across the suspension bridge and up to the lookout point for the Himalayas. The drive to get there was about an hour and a half in a comfortable, air conditioned car, where Bidhya gave us a very detailed explanation of the Kathmandu Valley and its history and traditions. After Nagarkot, we headed to Bhaktapur where we walked among the squares and temples, and the local streets, for a good two hours. This was a fantastic look into a fascinating world. All throughout, Bidhya explained the importance and use of the squares along with a background as to how Hinduism and Bhuddism are practiced in Nepal. After a good 6 hours, we returned to our hotel, extremely satisfied with our experience. A huge shoutout to Breakfree Adventures for putting this trip together and all the kudos in the world for the best guide in Kathmandu, Bidhya. Kudos as well to our great driver Lok who managed those Kathmandu Valley streets to perfection. A wonderful and highly recommended experience!!!

We hoped to see the Bug Man at sunrise and we did!!
The mountains are a long way away, but if you get a clear morning, it is a wonderful experience. As this is just a part of the trip, the hike including a suspension bridge, Buddhist Temple, high villages and forests and ending at Changunarayan Temple is a wonderful and full on experience. Great day!!

A delightful and delicious tour
Had an absolutely fantastic afternoon with Swoyam as he introduced us to so many new and amazing dishes. Not only was the food fantastic but we were given a wonderful insight into Nepalese history and culture along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu. So many of the places we visited were tucked away down little alleys or in quiet squares that we would never have discovered by ourselves. Thank you for a truly unique afternoon.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
This flight was amazing. Definitely a recommended trip whilst in Kathmandu.
Driver was amazing and helped us through to get our tickets.
My little one was car sick and he grabbed her a water and waited for us to sort her before taking us through.
Communication beforehand was exceptional.
This company looked after us so well whilst in Nepal even saving the day on our first day when our first tour company didnt turn up.

Spectacular scenery - 1 hr Mount Everest flight excursion, Guide Nawa
We took the 1 hour Mount Everest flight from Kathmandu and it was spectacular. The scenery while flying over and beside the Himalayas was like we were in another world.
Our guide Nawa Thapaliya and driver picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the airport. Nawa took us inside and did our check in. We had a long wait because of foggy weather. But once we took off, the magic of the scenery made it well worth the wait. Amazing!!
