Top Cuenca Cooking Classes

This small-group cooking class offers an authentic introduction to local cuisine by welcoming you into a Cuenca home to prepare traditional recipes. Pick up insights you wouldn’t get from following an online video—such as getting tips about local ingredients or discovering family cooking techniques. At the end of the class, sit down to enjoy the multi-course feast you’ve prepared with unlimited drinks included too.

The private chocolate experience in Cuenca begins at the Huachi Chocolate Museum, where you can taste three types of artisanal chocolate and learn about its composition and how to distinguish them. Explore the aromas and flavors of chocolate to prepare, visit the artisanal products store, and conclude with a practical session where you will make chocolate yourself. A host will welcome you in English or Spanish, thus facilitating the follow-up of the tasting and the workshop. The visit also introduces you to several entrepreneurs who supply the artisanal store.
