I'm Panagiotis and I have started fishing at the age of 5 years old. I remember myself going with my father, who was my first teacher for spearfishing. I have been at the sea from such a very young age and my ability to dive deep, gave me the advantage to learn quickly about the habits of fish. I became a freediver and a freediver-instructor. Now, I want to teach you how to free-dive and go spearfishing to catch that big fish you have always been dreaming of! Even if you are not experienced in spearfishing you can always observe me going for spearfishing. I'll catch your fish and then we'll grill it on board of our RIB boat and dine all together! The name Minnewaska comes from the American Indian word meaning clear water. The ship was built in Belfast in November 1908 and It was 183 meters long constructed as a passenger steamer. During the first world war the ship was used by the British military to transport troops. On the 29th November 1916 the ship was leaving Souda with the troops onboard when she struck a mine laid by a German submarine UC23. Hold below the water line she started to sink Captain Gates steered a course to the nearest land to try to beach the ship in the area of Marathi.

You will make 2 dives from a beautiful beach on the stunning south coast of Crete, and will expand your knowledge about the marine environment. This activity is perfect for any certified diver who cares about our environment and wishes to be a positive force for change.
