Top Beja District Spring Break

This workshop activity from Honrado Vineyards distinguishes itself by offering an authentic immersion in the artisanal vinification of Talha Wine. Designed tailor-made, it focuses exclusively on the millennial techniques of Roman heritage and the use of clay pots, taking place in the historic setting of the Adega-Museu Cella Vinaria Antiqua, in Villa de Frades. More than a conventional technical learning, it is an experience of active preservation of the heritage, culture and alive identity of Alentejo.

The Honrado Vineyards winemaking experience is distinguished by allowing direct participation in the most authentic and decisive moment of this millennial tradition. Rather than an industrial harvest, the activity focuses on the practical experience of the handicraft methods of Roman heritage, from grape harvesting to its preparation for fermentation in clay pots. Designed tailor-made in Villa de Frades, it offers a real immersion in the work of the field and the cellar, connecting participants to the ancestral knowledge of the Honrado family and the living essence of the Alentejo.

Discover the authentic flavors of Alentejo with our half-day wine and olive oil tour, a unique experience organized by Alentejo Viti Tours. This tour takes you to the Casa Relvas olive mill, where you will learn about the entire olive oil production process, from harvesting the olives to extracting the precious "liquid gold." After the visit, enjoy a guided tasting of premium olive oils and wines, where you can savor the genuine aromas and flavors of the region. For an even more immersive experience, you can add a traditional Alentejo lunch, featuring the finest local dishes paired with Casa Relvas wines.
