What are people saying about Armenia

This is a great tour for...
This is a great tour for those who want to go a little off the beaten paths but still experience the essence of Armenia. The sceneries are the most memorable, but so are the architecture, culture, and histories of the places we visited. We had a small group so I got to chat with our guide Ana a bit and she was just a wonderful person, going above and beyond to be helpful. My only disappointment was the lunch stop. The food was flavorless and mediocre at best. I wish we could try some local cuisine at a proper restaurant instead of a roadside canteen. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with this trip.

Good overview tour!
This tour gives you a good feel for different parts of Armenia close to Yerevan. The guide was knowledgeable and did a good job trying to keep a large group on time, given the ambitious itinerary. The monasteries were really interesting and all different in terms of design and state of preservation. Lunch and shopping in Dilijan was fun! It is a long day on a bus, though, so good to be prepared for that!

Great trip, excellent guide!
First of all, Yerevan is a fascinating and easily walkable city. What made this tour amazing was Ioanna, our guide! She spoke excellent English, she was funny, enthusiastic, passionate and gave a wonderful insight in to Yeravan, and Armenia. She was excellent at answering questions and providing great insight into ancient and recent history of a wonderful City and Country. Thank you!

Highly recommend
Levani was our driver (2 females) and he was great. Highly recommend. He drove very well/safe, took us to a few stops along the way (monasteries), gave us some good info at each stop, and showed us where to go. We had already been to one of the stops he suggested so he gave us another recommendation that worked out well. Boarder control was easy and Levani told us exactly what to do.

Traveling through Armenia, you feel the influences of the countless cultures that have passed through this mountainous land and the people's pride in maintaining their own identity despite stark odds. Armenia tours chart thousands of years of history, taking in everything from the pagan temple of Gurni to the realities of the Soviet era. See highlights like Lake Sevan and the Khor Virap monastery, and be back in Yerevan by dinnertime. Or take a classic car around the capital, learning about the machinations of the KGB. Whatever you choose, you’ll come face to face with history.
