A great introduction to Kazakhstan
This was such a fun experience. We went from desert landscapes to lush greenery and blue lakes. Amina was such a trooper, guiding a bunch of foreigners with different fitness levels. It was a long tour, I’m not gonna lie, but it was a great introduction to Kazakhstan. The best part was the bus ride to and from Kaindy lake on an old Soviet bus that periodically fires like a gun and gets you on the edge of your seat (literally) - a perfect ice breaker.

Great experience
Thanks to Sanzhar, we had a truly wonderful experience. He gave us plenty of time to take photos of the scenery and—since we weren't familiar with the tipping culture for things like restroom use at restaurants and cafes—he discreetly handled all the tips for us. He was incredibly attentive and thoughtful wherever we went. We are truly grateful.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The lakes and canyons were incredibly beautiful, and we were given ample time to enjoy all of them without feeling rushed. Nurzhan was a great guide and we enjoyed our time with him. The guesthouse was also very welcoming, and we had a unique experience staying in the yurt. I would strongly recommend the 2-day tour over the day tour as Kaindy lake was the best part.

Fantastic day of exploring Kazakhstan's incredible landscapes! The wide-open, endless views at Assy Plateau were breathtaking, the hike to Bear Waterfall was super refreshing, and finishing the trip by the turquoise waters of Issyk Lake made for a perfect day in nature. Saida was an amazing guide—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring every part of the journey went smoothly. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Almaty!
