Chill and informative day

I usually avoid tours because I hate being locked in to a schedule... But this was not that! It was great. Very well paced, with seeing something cool and then a short rest in the car, with nuanced and interesting history and cultural information and chats with the guide.

A lot to see and, because...

A lot to see and, because of that, a long day from hotel pick up to hotel drop off (about 12 hours). Jasmin, the driver and guide, did a great job. He provided good background information about each place we visited, plenty of breaks and enough time to see what the group wanted to see. If you are in Sarajevo, I suggest you take this tour to get an insight to the complex history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This tour gave life and depth to my time in Mostar

Miran was very hospitable, kept the trip humorous yet sincere, and clued us in on all the geopolitical developments happening behind all the scenery and monuments we saw. A lot of what he showed us couldn’t be showed in a book or museum, and his brought a lot of written facts about Mostar to life. Also felt really safe as a solo female traveler in the group, which is always a blessing. I didn’t stay in the hostel but it seems really clean too.

Great Bosnia day-trip with Ivana

If you want to be part of an informative, friendly and cozy tour, then this is perfect. Mario our tour guide made sure to involve everyone and handled the entire tour with lots of care and interest for each attendant. Liked that this tour stopped at four places in Bosnia. Appreciated that a last minute guide was dispatched to replace a guide who had taken ill. I did not appreciate the guide’s wild driving nor not dropping me off at the gate to the old city. Instead I was dropped off near the top of a hill which was “one minute from the gate”. The spot was over 10 minutes from the gate with many stair steps for a person 73 years old after a full days tour.
