Elias our guide was an amazing guide and 4x4 driver. Joseph was our driver from Durban to Underberg. Both kept us safe on this tour. We had a tasting of a hot bread made by a local and it was very delicious! The Basotho lamb and tripe were delicious as well! The view is amazing from the pub!

Long day, but worth the trip

The ride up to Sani Pass was awesome. The tour organizer based in Underberg did a fantastic job. I would have enjoyed more time driving through Lesotho, and less time at the Sani Pass restaurant. The tour organizer based in Durban was disappointing. The 3+ hour drives to Underberg and back to Durban were in a vehicle without heat, and the driver didn't make any bathroom stops - very unprofessional.

Exceptional experience

This was definitely one the best experiences I've had in my 2.5 months in South Africa. The views were absolutely spectacular and my guide and driver Wonder, was exceptional. It is a long drive but the company had a very well maintained, clean 4x4 and Wonder was very accommodating to multiple stops along the way for toilet and snack breaks. The tour itself was fine....

The tour itself was fine. However, the weather was bad. The weather in Lesotho was so sudden that it could not be predicted, so it seemed inevitable. The fact that I could go from Durban to Lesotho on a day trip was a great advantage of this tour. I went comfortably because the tour company connected the vans. Despite the bad weather, the scenery was good. The first driver wandered for 30 minutes because he didn't know exactly where he had to drop me off in Himeville.
