Discover the dazzling city of Yokohama with ease on a private driving tour either during the day or evening from Tokyo. First, there will be a 15-minute lecture introducing the basics of bonsai, including an explanation of what bonsai is, its historical roots in Japan, and an introduction to Bonsai-machi (Bonsai Town). Although you won't create your own bonsai during this session, you will participate in tasks that artisans perform regularly, such as pruning, moss application, and wire shaping. At the end, you will also learn daily care techniques for bonsai. Using the same materials as Japanese interior bonsai artists, you can create miniature versions. Since these are artificial bonsai, no maintenance such as watering is required. You can take your finished pieces home with you overseas.
