Our tour guide was...
Our tour guide was fantastic along with the sites we visited. As a Christian, I would've enjoyed a little more time at the sites to really take in the history and reverence of the site and it's Biblical and historical context, but the trip delivered in every other way. I went solo and for my first visit to Israel, this tour provided a wonderful opportunity to walk in some extremely significant places and to witness the beauty of the Holy Land.

The best day!
If you are a Christian, this is a must see! Jesus spendt most of his time in this area, performing a lot of miracles. The tour makes the Bible stories come alive. We were blessed with a most beautiful day and the weather was perfect! Our tour guide, Yousef, was very helpful and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend him.

Excellent trip
Great guide, felt right at home. Hard to get in and out of seat due to broken arm rest. But that isn't the driver's fault

What a Blissful Tour experience I had!
It was a very heartfelt and warm welcoming tour experience! I had such a great time thanks to the great plannings and connections of Wissam and his tour guide. It was very unique and wonderful memories this tour created for me for my stay in Nazareth. This tour was able to deliver what I’ve ever wanted or even dreamed about, and Wissam was willing to go extra miles to make sure I had a great time and got to visit the places I wanted to visit. Will never forget the great lifelong memories this tour has left me for my first trip coming to Israel.

Moment of clarity
Swimming in the river Jordan was a high light for me also visiting all the places that Jesus performed his miracles was a seminal moment for me, it give me great pause as I reflected on where I was and what was before my eyes. Jonathan our tour guide he was very knowledgeable, accommodating & multi-lingual, he was patient with our friend who is not very mobile but this trip meant so much to her and he helped her fulfill her dream. So a big Kudos to him. Will definitely recommend this tour to anyone

Too Many People on the Tour
Our tour ended up wasting an entire hour by turning the bus around to get a few people who were supposed to be meeting us by the ship, but never showed up! A few minutes of "courtesy waiting is ok and expected when a cruise ship unloads passengers but the fact that we turned around, yet never got the people wasted everyones time! We also spent a lots of time in a gift shop... Not needed. The visit to Yardenit ended up being very long as several people ended up getting babtized in the Jordan river. The worst of the tour was that we went to visit a "kibbuts" to have lunch. The price was 25euros per person and not even anything special. We did not eat. Instead, waited again for other people. A long day with lots of walking and waiting around. You will see many holy sites, but I think a mini bus tour option would be better. Too many people on the tour.

People Also Ask
Is the Sea of Galilee worth visiting?
It depends on your interests. For Christians visiting the Holy Land, the Sea of Galilee is a must-visit, up there with Bethlehem, Nazareth, and Jerusalem. Tiberias, on the shores of the lake, is one of Judaism’s four holy cities. For other travelers, it’s primarily an attractive lake.
Can you swim in the Sea of Galilee?
Yes, you can swim in the Sea of Galilee. There are a number of stony beaches that allow access to the water, and some athletes have swum all the way across the lake. However, Israel’s Health Ministry has warned swimmers to wear goggles after several people suffered serious eye conditions.
Can you walk around the Sea of Galilee?
Yes, you can walk around the Sea of Galilee—in theory. The Kinneret Trail, designed for hikers and bikers, will ultimately run around 37 miles (60 kilometers) around the lake, which is known as Lake Kinneret in Israel. But it’s not yet complete, and there are doubts it will be completed.
When is the best time of year to visit the Sea of Galilee?
Spring and fall—late April to early June and September to October—are the best times to visit the Sea of Galilee. They offer warm, sunny days without the high season crowds. Tiberias is an extremely popular summer vacation spot with Israelis, and many Europeans also visit Israel in summer.
Can you drink from the Sea of Galilee?
No, you can’t drink from the Sea of Galilee—not without filtering and purifying the water first. It's a freshwater lake that was for a long time Israel’s primary source of drinking water, but that water was heavily processed before reaching the faucet. Drinking from the Sea of Galilee is hazardous.
Are there cliffs around the Sea of Galilee?
Yes. There are cliffs around part of the Sea of Galilee, but they don’t enclose the whole lake. Arbel National Park, just north of Tiberias on the lake’s western shore, is home to the Arbel Cliff, a dramatic escarpment that shears dramatically down towards the Sea of Galilee.
