I am writing to share our feedback regarding our recent visit to your venue. Overall, it is an amazing place and we all thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view. The plants are also exceptionally well maintained, and we will definitely come back again. However, I wanted to let you know that the staff at the fruit shop were not clear about some of the fruits when we asked them questions. I hope this feedback is helpful for training purposes. Thank you for providing such a lovely experience.

Excellent Informative Tour

Incredible tour for kids and adults alike. Very informative and the grounds are stunning. There is plenty to do and see and the cafe and fruit stand were great.

Full tour experience good information on fruits

Informative and pleasant experience at Tropical Fruits Farm Tour started off with a fruit tasting talk. There was time to taste and eat the variety of fruits at a room within the plantation house. We also get to tour around the farm(which is very big) on a huge tractor. There were 3 stops while on the tractor. 1) to taste the farm grown bananas, crack the macadamia nuts, 2) animal petting area, which my kids love the most. They can feed ducks, sheep, kangaroos etc. 3) Small boat ferrying us to a playground etc. Overall, the farm experience is good. Also. They have a cafe within the farm, which serves good drinks and fruits ice cream. Only thing to note was the time zone was different if you are driving from Gold Coast. We drove around 50mins from Gold coast thinking that we were just in time for our 10.20am tour. However, we were told that New South Wales time is 1 hour ahead of Gold Coast , thus we were late. Lucky that we got another time slot in the afternoon (hotter though), and we waited at the cafe for the next tour. Tropical world fruits farm staff are generally very professional and informative too.

Know before you go

As there are some uneven pathways, sturdy closed-toe shoes are recommended.
The train and boat are not wheelchair accessible. However, fruit-tasting sessions and the plantation pavilion areas are accessible to wheelchairs. Wheelchair-friendly restrooms are available in the shopping and dining area.
Residents of the Tweed, Gold Coast, or Byron Shires are eligible to join the farm’s Locals Club and enjoy the tour for half price.
Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and set up a picnic on one of the lawns or covered areas.
