Your experience begins with a guided factory tour, where you’ll watch artisans transform plain fabric into vibrant designs using the traditional wax-resist dyeing method. See each stage of drawing, waxing, dyeing, and boiling as the colors and patterns come to life. Then join a hands-on workshop and create your own batik piece. With expert guidance, you’ll design, wax, and dye your fabric, leaving with a unique handmade souvenir and a meaningful cultural experience.

Experience authentic traditional old-school jewelry making in Sri Lanka. This hands-on workshop lets you actively participate in creating your own custom silver jewelry using time-honored techniques. Learn every step of the process including melting metal, gauging, soldering, designing, hammering, embedding gemstones, smoothing, and polishing. You will also learn how to identify real gemstones from artificial ones, and can touch and examine a variety of gems sourced from local mines. This is a working demonstration class which demonstrates you how to make a piece of jewelry in traditional way ,so If you wish to take what you make with you , then you will have to pay for the Metal and Gems involved in the piece.( very reasonable Non touristic price) But you don`t have to Buy anything unless you want to as we give chance for you to practice with a custom piece.
