Our adventure begins early in the morning as we leave the bustling city of Galle behind, embarking on a scenic drive through lush landscapes and quaint villages. Upon arriving at the Sinharaja Rain Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the air is filled with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves, signalling the start of our exploration. Guided by an expert, we’ll trek through the dense jungle, discovering unique plant species, colourful butterflies, and elusive wildlife, including endemic birds. Along the trail, we’ll encounter pristine waterfalls and crystal-clear streams, where the sound of cascading water adds to the serene ambience, offering a perfect spot to dip our feet in the cool, refreshing water. As the day draws to a close, we’ll make our way back to Galle, reflecting on the day’s adventures—the vibrant wildlife, lush greenery, and the tranquillity of the rainforest—leaving us with unforgettable memories of nature’s wonders.

Explore a game Drive Safari in the renowned Maduru Oya National Park, known for its Asian Elephant habitat. This day trip provides a thrilling half-day wildlife safari where you can witness a spectacular herd of Elephants, as well as other iconic wildlife such as Leopards, Sloth Bears, Sāmbhar, Spotted and Barking Deer, Wild Boar, and Wild Buffalo. This particular national park is not as heavily frequented by tourists, allowing you to observe and be inspired by the natural behaviors of wild animals in a serene and enjoyable manner. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to meet and interact with a group of Veddas, the indigenous people who reside within the confines of Maduru Oya National Park, and spend a delightful time with them until evening. Subsequently, we will return to Ella before nightfall. We should spend about 04hrs Transport time for Ella to Maduru Oya and Come back to Ella
