In this Japanese whiskey course, you will have the chance to drink a limited edition bottle from Yamazaki, Japan's oldest distillery, and Japan's original craft whiskey, Chichibu Distillery Ichiro's Malt Series. Whiskey distilleries have been established all over Japan, including Yamazaki Distillery. Among them, Chichibu Distillery's Ichiro's Malt, which is said to be the original craft whisky, is world-famous. You'll appreciate this almost private lesson, where you'll learn the specifics of Japanese whisky and other spirits that the owner will present to you. The owner is a great connoisseur of alcohol, and you'll enjoy talking to him. The owner is particular about organic products, and we also recommend handmade chocolates. You won't regret this unique experience!

This activity is unique because it offers a comprehensive and immersive experience in making Japanese comfort dishes from scratch, including fresh ramen noodles made by hand, rich Yuzu Shio ramen, tender chashu, and perfectly marinated ajitama. Participants also learn how to make okaka onigiri, a classic rice ball filled with savoury dried bonito flakes. The experience is completed by preparing and enjoying a refreshing Japanese-style matcha jelly dessert during the class.

We cook and eat osechi dishes on New Year's Day in Japan. We cook and eat Osechi-ryori, a local dish of Osaka. Osechi-ryori has a meaning. They want to live long and work hard. Black beans take 2 days to make! I learn how to make everything except black beans. We make Kazari-giri with Japanese style pickles and knives. You can learn traditional dishes which young people are less likely to cook now. I will advise you to make it at home. Ayako-sensei, a professional cooking teacher, will teach you kindly and carefully. You can enjoy making it even for the first time. Let's cook and eat Osechi-ryori which Tanjiro also ate.

You'll also delve into the art of making miso soup, beginning with preparing dashi from scratch. Finally, you'll beautifully pack your onigiri and miso soup into a bento box, creating a satisfying meal. With a small class size (up to 8 participants), you'll experience every step hands-on.
