Dani was our guide to for the day and was very informative. She knew a lot about the area as that is where she grew up. The day started out rainy but as the day went on it was only raining intermittently. The drive was long but we stopped every hour for a quick break. The area is just beautiful and full of history. Before we got to the park we stopped for the jumping crocodile cruise. Also very entertaining. The cave art was very interesting and the mountains are spectacular.

It was a long day, but we had a great experience. The Crocodile Cruise was better than expected, as our only previous experience was in a more zoo-like setting. We had a good hike in Kakadu, with Leigh giving us lots of stories. Leigh was a great guide, never afraid to delve into any Aussie topic.

Great trip seeing the highlights of kakadu. So much wildlife and a lovely walk at ubirr rock seeing the aboriginal art. Rick was an excellent guide and was able to tell us all about the birds and other animals we saw

Lovely day trip if you are into nature!
Had a great experience. The tour guide, whose name I forgot (he wears a mullet and likes geology), was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of insight into local history, Aboriginal traditions, and local fauna. A bit of a longer drive, but worth it!

Spectacular scenery, and well preserved rock srt
It's a long day at least 3 hours each way, the scenery on route is unchanging. You have an option for jumping crocodiles or bird watching, it depends on the time of year for the latter, so choose carefully, there are also regular comfort stops, food options are limited to the way out, but you can stock up and put in the toolbox provided.

Amazing country, such a special experience
Darryl was knowledgeable and entertaining. He was careful about making sure everyone was safe and on time. The Wetlands and Kakadu both beautiful. Loved the walk through Kakadu past the rock art. Amazing to stand in front of such history. Climbed to the top of a rock flat and had 360 views. Beautiful
Thanks Darryl

Litchfield 1 day Adventure
We swam at Berry Springs, Wangi and Florence Falls. All were amazing in their own way. Our Tour Guide Aaron was helpful and a wealth of knowledge. He was very accommodating to all age groups and abilities. A long, hot, jam packed day but we covered a lot of ground Pretty awesome!

Kakadu
Bus very crammed for an all day tour. We enjoyed doing the jumping crocodile cruise.
The Aboriginal artwork at Kakadu & hearing the background to it was well worthwhile. Tour guide was very knowledgeable on the artwork & history.

When to visit

Plan at least one hour to visit Ubirr to complete the circuit track and ascend the 820-foot (250-meter) lookout, with panoramic views over the Nadab floodplain.
The area around the main rock art site is wheelchair accessible, although the hilltop lookout is not.
Carry plenty of water for this walk, but leave alcoholic drinks behind out of respect for the local culture.
Stay on the marked track to avoid damaging any flora, fauna, or sites of cultural significance.
There are public toilets in the parking lot.
