Our mermaid experience is a unique experience to join in Tossa de Mar in the beautiful beach of Mar Menuda or in a swiming pool. Become a mermaid just for one day. TOSSASUB Instructor Training Center Christening of scuba diving at sea One day activity, three hours approximately. An instructor will make an introduction to explain the operation of the equipment, how to breathe, move underwater, communication signals. Then, after handing you the necessary material to perform the dive, you will be transferred to the beach to perform the dive baptism, always under the supervision of an instructor and at most 12 meters deep and for about 40-45 minutes, diving. After having enjoyed a hard-to-forget experience, you will be taken back to the center so you can shower and change. REQUIREMENTS: Do not have problems with your heart, breathing system, ears, or being pregnant. Do not fly minimum in 12 hours. The activity takes place within the Montgrí Natural Park. Immersion with a monitor per person at a maximum depth of 7-10 meters. Important: People with asthma, epilepsy, lung diseases, heart problems, perforated eardrums, diabetes or vascular diseases must present a specific medical certificate to carry out the activity. Pregnant or people who have suffered pneumothorax cannot perform the activity.

The PADI Open Water course is divided into three modules: - 4 dives in shallow waters in the sea where you can practice basic diving skills. - 4 open water dives in the sea where you will practice these skills in a typical diving situation. - 5 theory sessions where you learn the basic principles and knowledge necessary to dive in a safe and fun way. You will also receive a PADI eLearning code to download the theory to your mobile or tablet. In this way, you will be able to follow the classes and have the course content available at all times. The Try Dive or Discover Scuba Diving takes place from the Platja del Morro del Vedell, right in front of our Diving Center, There are two parts: - Theory part: In a simple theory session you will receive basic notions about diving theory. - Diving part: The practical part consists of a dive in the sea with a certified instructor to a maximum depth of 8 meters. It is a personalized dive, with a maximum of two people per instructor. After finishing your Discover Scuba Diving you can continue your adventure and become a certified diver enrolling in the PADI Open Water Diver course.

If you’ve never gone scuba diving before, this experience is for you. Led by your PADI-certified guide, you’ll dive—after some instruction—in the clear-blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by incredible marine life at every turn. After your expedition, you’ll get to nosh on local fare overlooking the beach, explore the medieval town of Tossa de Mar, and head back to Barcelona with a land-and-sea adventure on the books.
