We had a great day out with guide, Alfredo. He showed us all around the area with informative commentary. We especially loved the city of Chan Chan, that is not to be missed. I would have liked more time in Plaza De Armes as the architecture was beautiful but it gave us more time at the ancient sites. I recommend this tour.

Our guide’s English was poor so he had a hard time describing what we were seeing, and his microphone garbled everything he said anyway. The attractions themselves were interesting, but the guide would rush ahead and begin speaking to those who kept up, leaving most of the group to miss out on commentary. Our tour got a very late start so we were rushed through everything. The tour left without two people and we had to take extra time to go back for them, though they were an hour late. Several of the guests were mobility impaired, and the steps to board the bus itself were quite steep so access was difficult, especially considering we boarded and deboarded at least 5 times over the course of the tour. Once we had to walk a long, mud-soaked path in a jungle to get to a restaurant. Toward the end the guide informed us we all owed an additional $10 for admission charges to attractions. (He said it was supposed to be $15 but they were knocking off $5 because we were running so late). It had been two months since I booked this tour, so I didn’t remember it stated that admission fees were excluded, so it would have been nice if Viator had notified us in advance of the cost so we could have been prepared with correct amounts. Too bad we didn’t have enough cash left to tip the guide.

Started late but comfortable bus. We were rushed. Tour guide was nice but would have appreciated more narrative while driving.

The trip did not follow the itinerary. It did not go to all sights listed, due to closures, and went to places not listed. It was 2 hours longer than shown on the listing. It also stopped for lunch which was not mentioned on the itinerary.
Had the guide been better we might have enjoyed it more. Overall, disappointing.

In your case, we did attempt to contact you several times via WhatsApp and through the VIATOR messaging system to inform you about updates and minor adjustments, but unfortunately, we did not receive any response. Excellent excursion from Las Adventure. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Temples of the Sun and the Moon were fantastic and Chan Chan was well worth the visit.

When we got in the bus asked to give $8 more for entrance tickets and also 2 sets of friends had different tours but same itinerary paid $15 less

This was a very good tour. It covered everything in the area .the sun and moon temples were amazing as was chan chan. The town was beautiful. We were less keen on the seaside but this was a minor part. The guide alfredo was excellent.

We saw Chan Chan, had an excellent guide that talked about the culture and history about Peru and as well as the recent political climate. We covered a lot of territory in a short amount of time which was fine with me but tired out some other people in the group. The guide even took extra time to locate a late member but that worked out well so we could use the banos nearby!

This amazing tour of three archaeological sites and a small colonial museum revealed history previously unknown by many and not publicized well. Each of the sites are built of hand made mud bricks and adobe plaster. Painted in four colors with amazing preservation. This is a great tour for amateur historians.

We have booked our trip to Trujillo via Viator. LAS co.should pick us up on the pier at 9:15 am as per
info given by Viator.We were on the pier of Holland America ship early @ 8:40 am.After long inquiry we found out that LAS van left at 8:15 am.Nobody notified us that the trip will start 1 hour earlier.Other people from our group were notified via text message on the phone.We didn't have a phone service.LAS should call the ship and notify us thru Client Service.After calling LAS co.we were told to take a bus to downtown Trujillo and wait by the grocery store.They promise to pick us up in 20 min
utes.We were waiting @ 2 hours.Local policemen were watching us for safety reason.It was nerve wracking.We lost some interesting points to visit.LAS tour guide stated that we will get reimbursement for the missing part of the trip. No reimbursement so far. The rest of excursion was acceptable.Viator should advice Peruvian co.to notify clients about any changes related to time,place etc.

We are subject to the port authorities of each city of Peru, we have tried to communicate with you in several ways (Wassap, emails, calls) that day we operated 16 people and 14 received my message. I always recommend to our clients to check the emails, for any eventuality. what happened it was not the will of the adventure. we are always with Sign as (LAS ADVENTURE) with our guide with our passenger list in each port. San Martin & Callao and Salaverry.

Highly recommended. Fantastic trip and very good value for the amount of places we visited. Extremely interesting to hear about the history of the sites. They were a bloodthirsty lot!
Our guide was very enthusiastic and fluent in English but sometimes it was difficult to understand him because his accent was quite pronounced. Take a hat, sunscreen and water with you. It can get very hot.
