Very nicely done guided boat trip through the St. Lucia estuary/Isimangaliso park. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very skilled at conducting the tour. We saw a large number of hippo and other creatures.

It was good experience, the challenge was the rain and little bit cold. Couldn't see the crocodiles because of the rain.

Nice 2h boat tour with Hippos and Crocs sighting. Tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, showing us around with plenty of information on the park and wildlife.

We had an amazing morning cruise with Mdudusi. He was a great guide and managed to find us 2 crocodiles and a monitor lizard as well as baby hippos! Our young boys (7 and 4), loved seeing all of the animals and were kept busy swatting ‘hippo flies’ when they started to get restless!

The boat was very comfortable and the guide was extremely knowledgeable. Great viewing experience! We got to see a few pods of Hippo and some amazing birdlife, including a Fish Eagle.

Fantastic excursion, we were o a cruise ship but FORTUNATLY the trips onboard were fully boked so we arranged our own. We had to get a taxi which we got from the uk. I think that was like £50, for the day and without him we would never have found it tbh. But he actual trip was one of our highlights of a holiday. Hippos, Alligator's other wildlife we were spoiled. We were told it was unlikely wed see a gator but we did getting within 5m as he /she fed on some fish. The guide ( I didnt get his name) told us stories of Hippos in the main st and how dangerous they are. He told a story how how was attacked and survived because the bay rolled over him. Oh and the excursion from the ship were at the same place but didnt get a tour as the cruise company had double booked. God bless NCL.

Very nice experience! We have seen lots of Hippos in water and in the Coast. Very professional guide, knows a lot about the species around, not only Hippos, but birds as well.

Our guide, Mdu, was very knowledgeable and shared some interesting info with us. The kids enjoyed the boat ride and seeing the hippos so close by. Definitely a worthwhile item to add to your St Lucia experience!

Overall it has been a fantastic experience. A warm welcome from the gentleman at the „check in“. The tour itself was amazing, a lot of hippos as close as 2-3 meters. We saw birds and crocodiles, thanks to a very sharp eyed other tourist. And that is also the only complaint. Our tour guide had a lot of knowledge but was unfortunately busy at his cellphone all the time. That was a little bit of a bummer because we‘d have loved it, if he would have told us more about the flora and fauna.

Es war schön die Nilpferde zu sehen, sehr fundierte Informationen des Guides , jedoch unorganisierte Mitarbeiter, der Guide musste erst ein Machtwort sprechen wegen der Verteilung der Gäste auf die Schiffe. Wir hatten das Jahr vorher schon eine Tour unternommen mit einem anderen Anbieter mit weniger Infos, jedoch mehr Tiersichtungen auf der anderen Seite der Wetlands. im Großen und ganzen ein schönes Erlebnis

O sitio de encontro é muito fácil de encontrar, e está bem explicado.
Quando chegamos já está toda a gente à nossa espera para nos receber, com boa disposição e alegria. O nosso guia conhecia muito bem o Rio, os hipopótamos e as suas vidas e características, foi muito enriquecedor!
Para quem quer ver crocodilos, não é perfeito, porque é difícil (vimos 2) vê-los, mas em relação aos hipopótamos, é EXCELENTE! Famílias inteiras, fotos bonitas e sobretudo um contacto com a natureza que não é habitual!

De tour op zich zou leuk zijn, maar onze gids had weinig belangstelling voor zijn gasten en de hippo’s. Zijn telefoon was belangrijker! We hebben wel redelijk wat hippo’s gezien, maar we bleven maar kort op die plaatsen liggen met de boot. Andere boten bleven veel langer liggen. Op de terugweg gingen we alle hippo’s waar we langs kwamen voorbij. De tour eindigde een half uur eerder dan zou moeten. Dit geeft wel aan dat de gids naar huis wilde. Erg jammer. Achteraf hoorden we dat er betere organisaties zijn in St. Lucia, dus ik zou anderen aanraden om bij je hotel of pension te informeren naar de beste tour!
